Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 2.57/day in the week to Aug 23 → 5.71/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.

About

In a desperate move to end all wars that have been rampaging the world for decades, the mages provoked The Cataclysm. Massive balls of pure magic obliterated nearly everything. A strange purple mist propagated everywhere, with hordes of bloodthirsty mutants coming at night.
Our only hope is now to banish all magic from this accursed world by casting The Last Spell, requiring several days of uninterrupted incantation whilst a few strained Heroes try to protect those damned mages.

The Last Spell is a tactical RPG with roguelite elements in which you have to defend a city against hordes of deadly enemies.
During daytime, prepare your Heroes, carefully choose how to rebuild your Haven and position your defenses. Over the night, exterminate all the monsters coming at your walls with a large range of weapons and skills. Then heal, level up, and repeat until the Magic Seal is broken.

Turn-Based Tactical RPG:
● The whole RPG package: a flurry of stats, skills, perks, traits… and more.
● Tons of items: armors, weapons, trinkets and potions… with their own stats and skills, as well as optional random modifiers. Each weapon has its own skillset and playstyle!
● Build your own classes: upgrade your heroes with stat bonuses and perks, and equip whatever gear you wish. Want to make a glass cannon rogue/mage fighting with a gun? Do it!
● Manage your squad of heroes: they’re strong, but they are few and have access to limited resources. Healing and mana are scarce, so try to find a good balance.
Hordes of Evil:
● Think and adapt: you will face swarms of deadly enemies with only a few hardened heroes. Optimize your positioning and plan your actions: big AOE attacks, crowd control, buffs, poison... Every Action Point counts towards another day of survival.
● Enemies have strengths and weaknesses that will challenge your wits. And because hard is not enough for us, be prepared for the terrifying Elites!
● Each map will end with epic fights against unique mind-bending bosses.
Protect the Haven:
● Rebuild the city to help you in-between fights. Get healed, forge new magical weapons, get new heroes. Spend your resources wisely, commander!
● Build up your defenses: walls, traps, towers, catapults… every tiny bit of help is welcome.
● Protect the Magic Circle at all costs! If you lose it, humanity is doomed.
● 5 Havens to protect, each with their own setup and challenges requiring you to tailor your strategy to beat the Great Evil.
Roguelite Elements:
● The game is meant to be hard. You will fail… A lot. But every time you do, you’ll grow harder, better, faster, stronger!
● Procedurally generated enemy waves, characters, weapons and a ton of unlockables will keep you entertained until the real world collapses.
● Tailor each run thanks to the Omens: a limited amount of bonuses that can be picked for the upcoming run. Do you prefer more Action Points, more characters, sturdier defenses, better loot? Experiment to find your preferred tools of destruction.
● Scale the difficulty to your liking, with 6 levels of Apocalypse to entertain even the most hardcore players.
Headbanger Soundtrack:
● Over 25 tracks of thunderous synths-driven progressive metal to guide you through this joyous slaughterfest
● Composed by the incredible Rémi - The Algorithm - Gallégo

Reviews
It is a fun game, leveling and equipping your mercenaries is really enjoyable - but I can't keep myself motivated to continue playing as it is so slow paced. Takes forever to get to like day 10 or so, because you need a gazillion of turns to kill the 50 qudrillion enemies individually - and if you fail then you have to start over from day 1 and do the same exact drag again to get back to where you were in the run before. I can see how people with a lot of time will really enjoy this, would rather not recommend for people with a full time job.
This game is so fun and simple. It has customizations, builds=Tower-Defense, collectibles and inventory manager. The replayability keeps the game interesting with different outtakes and runs which makes it very enjoyable to pass the time!

Even though I am leaving a negative review, this game does have some great things and some bad things that some might be able to overlook. I love the music, atmosphere, and turn based gameplay. Where I ran into problems was the sluggish 'rogue' elements. Random heroes, random skills, too much random for my taste. These things normally wouldn't bother me in a rogue like, but due to the slooow pacing of the game they just felt too hindering to my enjoyment. Got it cheap, got some fun out of it. Won't be coming back.
A mechanically deep and viscerally satisfying game, with a large amount of content and high replayability for that content. You are tasked with using your limited heroes and resources to cut through the encroaching undead faster than they can overwhelm your haven, with a break each morning to level up, harvest resources, and prepare for the next night. The number of ways to do this effectively, even on higher difficulties, is surprising - each of the different weapon classes, perk trees, and types of base defenses has its own merit and they are pretty much all viable and fun to use. Each weapon has 3-4 skills/attacks and each hero can equip two weapons at once, allowing for a lot of diversity in builds and playstyles. Despite the high degree of depth, the game is not overwhelming to learn, as it introduces mechanics slowly and allows you to unlock the weapons/defenses that interest you first. The maps ramp up in difficulty gradually, forcing you to adapt to new enemy types and map features as you're unlocking the tools to manage them more effectively. I would recommend all of the DLC, but especially the last one (Tales of Torment) as it allows you to take on additional challenges within a run in exchange for various permanent buffs if you manage to succeed. It adds a nice element of risk-reward that encourages you to always be pushing the boundaries of what your heroes are capable of, and the rewards you can get further add to the replayability. Each run can take many hours and multiple play sessions to get through, so if you're someone who feels like you've "wasted your time" if you lose after a lengthy time investment, this game might not be for you. Personally, I never felt like I lost to anything other than my own mistakes, and even the runs where I got overwhelmed were fun until the bitter end. The sound design and music are also top-notch!
Starts off great, but... It took me 48 hours to realise that the only way to "win" in this drudgery is to laboriously redo the same scenarios over and over until your "level" is high enough to avoid being overwhelmed. That's not "fun", as I understand it. That's just mindless, repetitive plodding.
This game hits my spot; customizing a squad under constraints and then taking them out to see how they perform in a tactics-based challenge. They captured the flavor of defending against never-ending hordes of wimps punctuated by some truly dangerous enemies in a fantasy setting beautifully. It's biggest weakness is that it plays quite slowly; a game can take 10 hours and there are alot of different weapons and abilities to experiment with but you can only use a few in one game. I'm 80 hours in and I cannot properly talk about the balance yet because I haven't tried much of the gear.
For its price its truly great game if you like strategy games or type of games where you need to rly dial in you will like this for first 50 hours of this game. After that you will start seeing cracks and flaws of this game that it would benefit a lot from simple quality of life or simple rebalance but even then its well worth its price including all of the dlcs too. Another thing that i must be as neutral is lack of up to date guides for it because on one hand its rly hard to find build or guide that would still be applicable to current state of the game, but on other hand it good for the same reason because resolving problems without just going on google and resolving them makes it that much more rewarding (ive been trying to avoid googling or watching youtube about the games i play but i always do it just to later regret for spoiling the fun out of it).
