Torin arrives at a rural community and meets three eccentric farmers. He finds them odd at first, but little does he know that they will become his best friends! Maybe even more if romance were to develop?! In the meanwhile, what kind of wacky adventures will these four get into?

It's a fun, simple yet entertaining game to play. All the characters are very lovable as well, even the none romance options. The only bad thing I have to say about it is how short it is, I wanted more but for the price, its very good! :)
The main character is a city boy named Torin, who after his mother tells him to touch some grass, arrives at a rural community of farmers and he meets three eccentric farmer guys who all are a little odd. Even though they were odd at first, eventually they become very good friends of Torin! There is a chance for some wacky romance in there as well. The game itself is pretty alright and the artstyle is okay even though I find it a rather simple and boring. The characters however were something I didn't like at all. They were just too weird and odd right from the beginning and it was super weird to even do any of the romance routes for the characters because they were just so weird. I kinda feel like the game would have benefited from longer routes and more time spent on actual bonding of the characters, rather than the romances being really fast and odd. I guess the game is worth the price at it is at currently, but I just really didn't enjoy the weird humor, story and the artstyle of this game. Therefore I can't recommend it, but I think someone might enjoy the game.
At a Glance Recommendation: Recommended Best For: Players looking for a wholesome, fully gay Boys' Love visual novel with lighthearted comedy and sweet romance. Not For: Players seeking deep storytelling, greater body diversity, explicit content, or significantly different romance routes. Playtime: Approximately 3 hours for one route, 4-5 hours for all endings using skip. MLM Tags: MLM, M4M, Visual Novel, Gay-Centered, Romance, Comedy, Twink 🎮 Gameplay & Genre Odd Guy Meets Odd Farmers is a traditional visual novel with four romance routes, one for each love interest. There are a handful of very simple clicker-style mini-"games" throughout the story, but they never become a significant part of the experience. One route took me around three hours to complete, while the remaining routes went much faster with the skip function since a large portion of the dialogue is shared between them. All ten achievements are straightforward to obtain by completing each ending. 🔥 M/M Content This is an unapologetically gay visual novel. Every romance route is M/M, there are no female romance options, and the story never diverts into heterosexual subplots or "maybe he's actually straight" drama. It simply allows friendships to develop naturally into romance, and the relationships are wholesome and sincere throughout. Although Gilbert frequently delivers surprisingly lewd innuendo with a completely straight face, the game itself remains entirely safe for work. He easily became my favorite love interest thanks to his wonderfully deadpan and raunchy sense of humor. 🎨 Visuals & Style Visually, the cast leans heavily toward a slim twink aesthetic. ChaniMK's style is distinctive, with angular faces, large eyes, and character designs that look noticeably different from many other visual novels in this space. The protagonist and all three love interests share very similar facial features, to the point that they can sometimes resemble siblings distinguished mostly by different hairstyles and hair colors. That did not ruin the experience, but players looking for greater body or character diversity may find the designs repetitive. The interface is clean, easy to navigate, and polished throughout. 🗣️ Tone & Writing The premise is delightfully odd. Torin, a recent high school graduate content to spend his gap year playing video games, is sent by his mother to work on a farm for two weeks. He quickly discovers that the three local farmers are every bit as eccentric as the game's title suggests, while they find him just as strange in return. This isn't a story trying to deliver profound emotional drama or complex character studies. Instead, it embraces light comedy, wholesome friendship, and gentle romance. I found myself chuckling more than once at the characters' interactions, particularly whenever Gilbert appeared. The four routes share a substantial amount of dialogue, so don't expect dramatically different experiences with each playthrough. Fortunately, each romance has enough individual personality to make seeing every ending worthwhile. 👍 Best Thing A genuinely wholesome M/M romance that stays fully committed to its gay cast while delivering plenty of charming humor. Gilbert's perfectly deadpan dirty jokes nearly steal the entire game. 👎 Worst Thing The romance routes overlap heavily, and the main cast's very similar character designs make everyone blend together more than they should. ⭐ Final Verdict Odd Guy Meets Odd Farmers won't leave you contemplating the meaning of life, but it never tries to. It's a charming, funny, and wholesome Boys' Love visual novel with sincere M/M romance and an endearing cast of oddballs. If you're looking for a relaxing afternoon with a wholesome, unapologetically gay visual novel, it's an easy recommendation. It is also a rarity within the M/M visual novel space: a genuinely wholesome Boys' Love story that I would feel comfortable recommending to older teens. The romance is sincere, the comedy is lighthearted, and despite some innuendo and mature jokes, the game remains safely SFW throughout. I wish there were more games in this niche that could make that claim. I did NOT play this game for just 5 min lol... I had to do that to leave a review. I received this game on a different site for Single's Awareness Day (Valentine's Day), and as I really liked these games and the Developer, I promised to support them in return. I am also copying and pasting my review from the other website. Cheers. ^^ -----> This game is fun and lighthearted and oh so worth it. I like the jokes and they actually made me laugh! That's an achievement in its own. The most hilarious part of the game were the "Legends"... XD... Everything else was fluffy and delightful and each character had something interesting to offer. Whether it be Gilbert's maturity + his jokes... Cam's the best looking one (dark hair *cough*) + his craziness Or Archie... Who is just kind and nuts. Let's not forget the baby MC who grew more mature as he went along. Loved it. Loved it all. THANK YOU!!!
Чудаковатая комедия про дружбу. Ну и для желающих есть BL-концовки, но игра всё равно больше о другом.
My first read of a ChaniMK visual novel. Super cute and funny. Archie is best boy. Now I'm gonna go buy every other VN they've ever published on Steam.
Весёлая игра, давно так не смеялась) Персонажи очень интересные, каждый со своим "скелетом" ХD
fellas, is it gay to hang out with weird queer farmers?
This was, as usual from ChaniMK, a pleasant, funny and entertaining experinece. Love the characters, the art and it just gives you a good time. I enjoyed it. Hope to see more from the developer! :)
This game is so wholesome! Important things first, if you like a fun visual novel I think it's worth both the price and the time. Considering it was made by a solo-dev, the care and personalization of the game is amazing! All the artwork is original and it contains more CGs per route than the average VN. Plus, the humor is spicy but never inappropriate. I loved the characters, especially Archie and Uncle Logan. It captures the good nature of being in a rural community perfectly. Bravo, Chani! PS: if you consider a sequel, what about a story about the aunties and uncles when they were young?
