A Pact With Me is a BL visual novel where you play as a demon having a choice to corrupt or grow fond and sincerely help three guys. It was quite a fascinating and thought-provoking experience. Visually at first the game feels kinda simplistic. And honestly I had contemplated a lot before buying this game if I'm ready to watch my MC with his third eye looking a bit disturbing. But slowly I got used to his demonic form. Some CGs seemed a bit repetitive, looking kinda the same but in general art was quite pretty. Some CGs were really pleasant to look at. And I like how the gallery is organized divided into characters' sections. Also, that's a rare case for me but I really like the soundtrack here. So fitting! https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2838182440 All three routes were very engaging. I find it an interesting feature that you can choose to play all of them at once. Each route has 2 good and 2 bad endings. The very idea of sacrificing your soul for demon's pact was quite compelling. Do you have such a strong wish you are ready to abandon everything? Are 20 perfect years enough to lose your very core of existence? Would you agree because your sufferings are truly unbearable and there's no other way out or are you just too egoistic willing to get what you want without any hard work? It felt good to ponder over similar things while playing. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2838902496 I always enjoyed well-written evil characters, it feels amazing to come across an appealing villain. It's uncommonto be able to play as a wicked protagonist. Though at first he is shown in such a sweet way grieving for his human partner. So it kinda influenced me. It felt wrong to defile those vulnerable people. So I tried to pursue good endings first behaving myself xD But I guess Lucifer's nagging slowly tempted me xD By the way that was short but great fun to watch their bickering. I immersed into that infernal atmosphere and when I reached bad endings... You know my first reaction was “Why are they even called BAD?” That's ideal. I'm a demon. How else could that end? It's not like it's bad for me. They got what they deserved, no one actually forced humans to choose those paths, it was their will and thus their responsibility. That transition in thoughts was impressive. The chapters are rather short but the dark mood really got into me. It felt amazing to succumb into that way of thinking. That's what I like in good stories—force me into experiencing something I don't get in reality, smth I'm opposed to, make me someone I am actually not in reality, let me live someone else's life, feel what they feel. Isn't it a miraculous effect of good writing? https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2838974801 Some complaints: --SAVE SLOTS :( again, like in their first game there's only one page, six slots. For a novel with many choices it's not enough :( I get it, you may access any chapter for any character from the main menu. Great feature but I want to be able to save where I want! That's such a serious flaw I even thought if I should buy the dev's other games because I'm sure this issue remains there too(( I don't get it why, is it really so technically difficult to make more?! In some games it looks like an endless number of pages, why here it's only ONE T_T --again I got used to it soon but at first it was a bit uncomfortable to look at so much bright red xD --no explicit content. It's not a flaw but it's still more 'minus' for me than a 'plus' xD --typos. So, I've played this dev's first and latest (this one) novels and I loved them. There're two more I need to buy. Can't wait to try them too. <3

[th]More thoughts about the game in a Reading Nook [/th]

O no i am in love with Belial and Lucifer :')
i thoroughly enjoyed playing this game, each route was enjoyable, but Shilo's route really took me by surprise (in a good way). If there ever were to be a part two I would definitely play it.
Anytime I open one of Chani's games and it says "no s*xual content"... I am like "damn it!". Then I realize that there is usually no such content in these and go on to enjoy myself nonetheless. This one wasn't as psychotic as "Forgive My Sins". It's also not one that contains humor like in "Odd Farmers". It's more like... How badly do you want something in order to be willing to pay the crazy price for it? I am not sure why Renan had the "emotionless" face (he must've played too many of his songs and became immune to music), because I'd think that Lior would be more fit for it. Then it would make sense for Lior to want happiness... Because he feels nothing... Then Renan gets the "happy kid" trait and I guess he can go through this thing called "maturity" and seeing how the world actually works. Alternative universe? Yes indeed! Now that aside, the stories were fine. I just gotta say that SHILO stood out the most from all of them. I think he is the intended target for Beli. His thing/route was spot on. It was the most sadistic one too and I mean... It works. It just does. Oh and this is not to say you wont enjoy others. For me it was like that and remember, you can learn from everything. ALMOST from everything. So why not? Chani, keep up the good work. Love yer games and thanks again!!! :3 =) :)
I have gotten all of the achievements. It only took me about 2 hours to beat the game, but it was a fun time. This game is recommended by me, especially for the low price.
It's funny that there's one game where you're an angel and one where you're a demon. It's a shorter game, but it's still cute. Took me a bit to figure out how to save it, but then I thoroughly enjoyed playing it. I still need to play it some more to see what I can mix and match to get my favorite endings. It's cute that Belial has such a soft spot for humans, and I love going down the route where he loves all of his humans. Lior is so cute, I just want to bully him. Shilo is so sadistic and honestly I love that he
becomes a demon in one of his endings.
And sweet Renan, ah... I love his type the most.
I'm so happy these games are on steam! I've played all the other games from itch.io :DDDD I've had SO much fun with this game :D The game dev deserves all the head pats in the world! I like how each of the three humans had up to 6 chapters each to make the number 666 and i's interesting how the bad ending where you can make all of them kill someone is in chapter 4 since in some Asian cultures 4 is seen as the number of death or if you give someone something with a 4 on it it can be considered a death threat. Don't know if that was intentional or not. I made it a personal mission to get all of the bad endings before getting the good endings >:D And I gotta say, it kinda concerns me that I can somewhat relate to Shilo -v-;
I genuinely such a good game, the endings are amazing even the bad ones
