Buena historia, música hermosa y buenos culos. Obra maestra 10/10
best game i played back in 2021 on my xbox. story is amazing, and immediately hooked during the opening sequence and 2B's monologue. I still quote it to this day. SOUNDTRACK is also PEAK (Beautiful Song is my fav). Lives will be changed, should you choose to play this...

NieR: Automata is an absolute masterpiece. From the story, soundtrack and lovable characters to the hidden dark truths and disturbing twists, this game sits proudly in my hall of champions. I've never seen something like this, a subject so unique and different from everything I've ever played. I even took the time to complete all the achievements manually, just so I could spend more time in this absolutely beautiful settlement. For context, in the end a certain npc option is revealed that can unlock achievements in exchange for in-game currency - but I didn't want to use it. The modding scene is also very good. I've decided to pick up this game after almost 10 years from launch, so the graphics felt a little outdated. With a few upscaling mods for textures and cutscenes + outfits, I made it look pretty satisfying, though even without them the game looks amazing. Make yourself a service and give it a try. Once again Square Enix proves that it never disappoints.

If Steam had a way to review stuff as "average," I would give it to this game. It's not a bad game, but it's not a masterpiece. I think the story with the androids was interesting. I never played the original Nier, so I don't know the backstory of the aliens and stuff. Anyway, this is quite a weak game by Platinum Games, I can't lie. Bayonetta is a much better hack-and-slash. I don't even know if I should call this game a hack-and-slash, people call it that, but it's more of an action RPG. The gameplay is shallow. There is light and heavy attack, and like 2 combos you can do with them, that's basically it. Also, the world is really boring as in, there is nothing to do and it doesn't look that good. It's one of the worst aspects of the game. I really liked most of the side quests. There was this one little robot who begged me not to kill him because he wanted to take care of his animals. Something about that quest clicked with me; it was fun. There was the martial artist android that was pretty fun too, he gets stronger and stronger the more you beat him. The main story did grab me a couple of times, but it's not that interesting. Also, the music is so good in this game. I would replay this game only for the music, really solid music. The character designs are good. I like the crow-looking style thing. Also, death to the Redditors and Steam users. When I tried to search if there is a mod that would cover up 2B because I didn't feel comfortable playing around with her, these "people" have the audacity to say some BS like, "You're misogynist if you download that type of mod," or "UhH wElL tHaTs HoW ThE dEvS mAdE hEr LoOk ThAt WaY, tHe GaMe Is MeAnT tO bE pLaYeD wItH hEr LiKe ThAt." Like, shut up. I hope you never have a happy moment in your life. A good Nier fan is a dead Nier fan. (Also, I've only beaten it once. I know there are like, idk, 3 or I think 26 endings? Not sure, but I was too lazy to replay it, so I might update the review after I play those endings.) I still think Bayonetta is a much better game than Nier, gameplay wise and story wise (even if sometimes it's a bit confusing to follow, at least the first game). Still, I think it's a solid game with some flaws, but still good. Get it on discount, also, it runs great.
Yes.
