THE UNIQUES: 💎 Seeing creative lingerie. PLAYER GAMING REQUIREMENTS: 💼 Sexual Content. 💼 Anime. 💼 Visual Novel. PROS: + Hentai scenes are pretty decent. [strike] + No male characters [/strike] + Paths make sense for the right girls. + Creative underwear. CONS: - Not worth the asking price. - A short visual novel. VERDICT: Yes guys, it's another hentai visual novel, yes I have issue and no I don't need help. I mainly play these for the humour and cringe, sometimes the story is even good. This one didn't really have a good story but I did cringe and the lingerie was very appealing. These games are meant to be played lightly and to blow of pent up emotions, the sex scenes certainly help in that department. And as always, play this game with the door closed, especially if playing the mature content. Total Score = 49/100.
Hood Classic Sesbian Lex!
Negligee is a Visual Novel, a traditional one at that, meaning it actually have choices and they're actually matter, pretty much choose your own adventure type of game. The story is fairly short, about 1-2 hours, depends on how fast you can read. But it has multiple endings, which require multiple playthrough and exploring other options. For the story it's a lesbian/yuri themed Visual Novel. You'll be playing as Hannah, the new manager of a lingerie store, and you'll be tasked with hiring new employee for the store. And since there're more than one girl applying for the job, you decided to give them trial period. Now with multiple girls working under you, you have the chance to get to know them, and use that to finalize on who to hire, or even better
all at once 😉
. It's straight forward story, that's is easy to understand, and maybe even relate with for the lady gamers out there. What I also like about this game is how genuine and relatable the girl-talks in this game are. Well, I'll admit that as a man, I not 100% sure what do women often talk about when they're together in private, but I have a fair share of ladies that had casually opened up to me about their sexuality and their pervy interests. I mean, I have even seen they do sex-talk with each other in front of me like nothing. Making this game genuinely feels like it's being written by people who actually know what they're writing about. Next is the arts/CGs, I have to say that they're all amazing! Beautiful gals in beautiful sexy lingeries, and that's all you need to know. The lingerie selections for that characters to wear are top notch too! There're also some nudity and animations for the sex scenes, if you add the free DLC. However, for the animations, live2D, are a bit outdated comparing to today standard. But hey this game came out since 2016, and the animation might be considered good back then, I don't know lol.
Rating: Fancy laced Undies
Great Visual Novel, great opportunity to learn about women's nightwear. Since this game is almost a decade old, you can often find this game at really heavy sale in 2025. Fun story time: After so many years I finally got the chance to play this good ol' game on my own, which is one of many other old school NSFW games (such as Teaching Feeling, Parasite in City, HuniePop, and Negligee) that has led me down the path of NSFW games appreciation. That had also opened my eyes that there is more to adult entertainment in gaming than just some strippers in Grand Theft Auto, that is the hidden adult side of gaming. I have carried the desire to play these games since middle school, yes I was exposed to p*rnography as early as 3rd grade or some sh*t lol. And now I finally have the freedom and resources to do so. These games has showed me that there's more to life than just bunch of mainstream microtransaction FPS edgy shooter games, which eventually led me to grown tired of mainstream games lol. While other led me to appreciate NSFW games, Negligee led me to appreciate sexy women undergarments lol, and also yuri, but only to be taken over by futanari lol. Also the Negligee series is the one that took me down the rabbit hole of NSFW games' history on Steam, it began with "Negligee: Love Stories" to be exact. Which then took me to various case by case articles of adult theme games being banned on Steam, and data list of banned adult games on Steam. It's very interesting and sad at the same time, as someone who really enjoy adult games.
Negligee is a nice romance love story. We take on the role as a lingerie shop manager and we need to recruit a new employee, Within a day we get to have 2 to 3 new girls each with a week of test period and a final verdict. All of the girls offer their own kirk, jokes and charm and add to the appeal of the lingerie shop. The conversation are filled with a little indecent topics which lead to some weird arguments between the girls. The art style is allright, the background music too but lacks a bit of alternativity and the 18+scenes are on a small part animated, but i can't say they are fluid as they deform the characters a bit to much. The novel also features a lot of choices at a total of 12 different routes and endings. Some of the routes are a bit hard to get by and without looking up for guides you likely wont reach some of them. I can recommend this novel further.
Where's the R18 patch?
«I always like to pretend that I'm better than this. But the fact that I'm not makes it even better»
Awesome concept, good writing but its less of a game and more a choose your own adventure novel, but you barely have any choices to make, there's very little input you can get, in the time I played I got a handful of choices to make with no real idea of the impact they'd have, not worth the money, even if it is on sale.
Negligee is a yuri-themed visual novel created by Dharker Studios, combining romantic storytelling, slice-of-life character interactions, and adult content within the framework of a choice-driven narrative. Set primarily inside a small lingerie boutique called Negligee, the game presents a story that revolves around personal relationships, workplace dynamics, and romantic possibilities between several female characters. Although the game includes explicit scenes, its structure follows the traditional format of a visual novel, focusing on dialogue, character development, and branching storylines shaped by player decisions. The experience is relatively short compared to larger visual novels, but it aims to deliver a lighthearted romantic narrative with multiple possible outcomes. The story centers on Hannah, a young woman who unexpectedly finds herself responsible for managing the Negligee lingerie shop. The situation arises when the previous manager suddenly disappears, leaving the store without clear leadership. Hannah has worked there before and understands the business to some extent, but stepping into the managerial role is both exciting and intimidating for her. Complicating matters further is the fact that the store is understaffed, forcing Hannah to take initiative and recruit new employees. Hoping to solve the problem, she places a hiring notice outside the shop and soon receives interest from several women who each bring their own personalities and motivations. From this point onward, the story unfolds as Hannah interviews and interacts with three potential employees. Each of these characters serves as a potential romantic interest, and the player’s choices determine which applicant joins the store and how the relationship with Hannah develops. This branching narrative structure allows the story to take several different paths depending on which character the player chooses to focus on. Each route explores a different dynamic between Hannah and her chosen coworker, ranging from playful and comedic interactions to more emotional moments that reveal the characters’ insecurities, ambitions, and personal histories. The gameplay follows the traditional format of a visual novel, where most of the experience involves reading dialogue and narrative text accompanied by illustrated scenes. Players advance through conversations and occasionally make choices that influence how events unfold. These decisions shape the direction of the story, unlocking specific scenes, character interactions, and endings tied to each romantic route. While the gameplay mechanics themselves are simple, the branching structure encourages multiple playthroughs in order to experience every storyline and discover the different conclusions available. Character interaction is the heart of the game’s appeal. Each potential employee has a distinctive personality that influences the tone of their storyline. One character may be playful and mischievous, creating humorous situations through teasing conversations and flirtatious banter. Another might be more reserved or emotionally complex, gradually opening up to Hannah as their relationship develops. These differing personalities allow each narrative route to feel unique, offering players different emotional experiences depending on the path they choose. As the story progresses, the characters’ conversations reveal their individual struggles, aspirations, and vulnerabilities, helping to give the romantic arcs a sense of progression. The setting of the lingerie boutique plays an important role in shaping the story’s atmosphere. Much of the narrative unfolds during everyday activities at the shop, such as assisting customers, discussing fashion items, or simply chatting during quiet moments at work. These slice-of-life scenes help establish a relaxed and casual environment where relationships can grow naturally. The workplace setting also creates opportunities for comedic misunderstandings and playful interactions, particularly when conversations turn flirtatious or awkward situations arise. Visually, the game embraces a colorful anime-inspired art style that emphasizes expressive character designs and detailed illustrations. Character sprites are used throughout the story to display emotions and reactions during dialogue, while special CG illustrations appear during key narrative moments. These images highlight important events, romantic scenes, and emotional turning points in the story. The artwork is polished and vibrant, helping to give each character a distinctive visual identity and making the interactions feel lively and engaging. The soundtrack complements the relaxed tone of the game with soft background music that accompanies conversations and narrative scenes. While the audio design remains relatively simple, it helps maintain the gentle pace of the storytelling and supports the lighthearted atmosphere. The absence of voice acting means the dialogue relies entirely on written text, but the expressive artwork and character writing help convey personality and emotion effectively. One of the notable aspects of Negligee is its multiple endings system. Each character route can lead to several different conclusions depending on the choices made throughout the story. Some endings focus on the success of Hannah’s romantic relationship, while others explore alternative outcomes based on how the player navigates conversations and decisions. These variations provide an incentive to replay the game, as discovering every ending reveals additional scenes and perspectives on the characters’ lives. Despite its strengths, the game’s scope is relatively limited compared to longer visual novels. Individual story routes can be completed within a short period of time, meaning the entire experience can feel brief once all the endings have been explored. Additionally, the gameplay remains focused almost entirely on reading and decision-making, with little interaction beyond selecting dialogue options. For players who enjoy more complex gameplay systems, this simplicity may feel restrictive. However, the game’s compact structure also allows it to maintain a consistent tone and pacing without unnecessary filler. The narrative moves quickly from one scene to the next, keeping the focus on character interactions and relationship development. This approach makes the game easy to experience in a single sitting while still offering enough branching paths to encourage replayability. Negligee ultimately succeeds as a lighthearted romantic visual novel that emphasizes character-driven storytelling and playful dialogue. By combining a workplace setting with a cast of distinct personalities, the game creates an environment where relationships develop naturally through conversation and shared experiences. While it may not offer the complexity or length of larger visual novel titles, its charming characters, polished artwork, and multiple narrative paths provide an enjoyable experience for players who appreciate romance-focused interactive stories.
