N.E.R.O.: Nothing Ever Remains Obscure

Okay game. Beautiful concept but mediocre execution. Moving story and nice music, graphics somewhat okay but glitchy, Gameplay is nothing more than a walking simulator that's too slow for comfort and the "puzzles" are meh at best, frustrating at times. Recommended for the concept and story, but don't expect anything special gameplaywise.

This is actually a pretty nice walking simulator with plenty going for it. I love the sound design and soundtrack, and the visuals are quite beautiful at times. There are actual puzzles in this game, so there is more to this than just walking. The story is a touching story about loss and persevering.

I cant stand the foggy glow everywhere around the lighting.. The game is dark and everything is luminescent glowing... it should look great, but the air..... glowing just looks foggy, like your trying to play the game through a foggy glass and you cant seen things clearly.

For me this game is something between a Yes and a no. Perfect and unique things: - The special atmosphere in the game - The beautiful music in the game, yes this gives you really the drive to continue - A special experience Less things in my opinion: - A gameplay that feels a bit too lack from time to time - A story that's very difficult to understand good, because it's not very clear - Very easy or illegical puzzles: I really don't like the puzzles with the grids (like the only one in the last chapter); it would be a great value if you can skip this stuff - Very difficult achievements, because it's not very clear where all the puzzles were hidden in the game; certainly not the first time you play. The most important lesson this games learns: if the music is magnificient you don't give up & even try a walkthrough if necessary

Jeu facile à prendre en main, payé 1€ lors de promotion pour 3h40 de jeu, cela a était suffisant pour faire le full succès sans trop de prise de tête. Au début le jeu peu paraitre bizarre mais on comprend très vite l'épopée.

Super schönes Spiel

N.E.R.O. is an unstimulating and depressing experience, one that leaves you feeling acutely glum due to the time and energy that has been wasted. The visuals are immensely ugly and yet treated as if you're crossing a world of magical grandeur, combine this with the impassive story and atrocious puzzles and you've got a formula for catastrophe. The brief walk through the graveyard is the sole point of interest and the only instance the game's hideous visage works in its favour. Nothing Even Remotely Original. 3/10
