I didn't expect to give this a negative review going in. since its not like i dislike what people like to call "walking simulators" STORY The biggest appeal of games like this is the story, which here, at least for me. was not interesting at all. with 4 chapters (4 being the shortest) and knowing the entire core of the story during just the first of them... the rest being how the characters feel and try to go against fate. this is told mostly through glowing text that hovers around areas. and occasional voice acting for some. it was was bland and not a driving force to continue the experience. which is unfortunate, because it doesn't get better. GAMEPLAY with the gameplay side of things, you walk around and eventually get a partner you can command to move. and an orb which solves every puzzle in the game. most of them i can't even call puzzles as they are insanely easy. but then you get 3 which have the writing "you know the truth" when you see this. prepare for pain. as solving them is only partially logic based. you may know what the goal is. but getting there may not make any sense. oddly, it seems a good amount of them throughout the game are....optional? as far as i could tell i could ignore them and keep going. since they do little more than give some voice acted dialog most of the time. 2 of the harder puzzles mentioned earlier seemed to be optional. while the final one stops you at the end of the game... Collectables i hated these, the first 2 chapters i didn't collect them all. i'm not even sure if it is possible to. as i searched pretty thoroughly and didn't 100% them...they also contribute to another issue i have with this. map design. with "off the path" being something that got a bit tedious as time went on. chapter 2 for me was easily the worst when it came to this and its forest areas.... Visuals they were colorful and pretty, 2nd best thing about the experience. Ending when i could finally do something else with my life. that moment. was the best thing about this experience. Overall i'm...not sure who i could recommend this to. who would have a chance of liking it. if they don't particularly like the visuals. i expect most people to not be able to finish this let alone play. it wasn't fun,the story wasn't engaging, and the padding/unnecessarily annoying few puzzles made this more of a chore to play than anything else. i'm sure someone will find something positive for them here. but as far as walking simulators go. this may be the least enjoyable i have ever played.

Not bad not good like somebody developed it and made a good story and didnt polished the things that hurts this game
Very beautiful game with a captivating story.
I got a code for the game for less than a dollar and.. yeah.. I wouldn't recommend this at full price at all, if you can get it at sale for 50% off or less then maybe. The visuals aren't great, when you launch the game it's waaay too dark to see most things, and if you adjust the gamma setting to be high enough where you can see around properly, the colors start looking really washed out. The strong bloom on every single light source also doesn't look that great, there's so much of it on the screen at all times that it just makes the game look cloudy and blurry, like I need to clean my glasses or something to see better. The bloom also made it hard to differentiate between orange and blue lights on some puzzles, because it made every light look white with veeeery small color variations. The animated cutscenes at the start of levels were really pretty, but ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, I can't tell if the resolution settings just don't work on the videos or if they got compressed through every layer of hell because it feels like you're watching them at 360p, it's pixelated to the point of almost being distracting. There were a bunch of visual glitches, the button prompt to summon the magic projectile kept appearing randomly and wouldn't leave until I encountered the next cutscene. missing subtitles, the sun rays flickering on and off randomly on the last level. Nothing gamebreaking but still slight annoyances. There's a bunch of floating text that you'll come across in the game, I actually quite liked this approach to telling parts of the story. But there was odd sentence structure and typos in quite a few of them, or the exact same text is repeated in two different locations only 20 second walk apart from one another. It feels like the writing was translated from another language or something..? The story itself was passable, it feels like whatever worldbulding it was trying to do at the start didn't really matter after the halfway point. And I wasn't a fan of how the ending was handled, the last level is the shortest of the bunch, and the last few story beats ended up feeling kinda rushed. The collectibles don't add much to the story, and couple of them are located in places that most players would never think to look, one especially bad one was off the road in a forest somewhere where there was nothing else of interest to draw the player's attention to said location. Overall the game is kinda meh, like I said the start-of-chapter cutscenes are gorgeous, and the game has a few interesting visuals and story ideas going for it, but it all ends up falling a bit flat. The puzzles aren't interesting, and most of the areas don't look visually interesting or memorable. If you take away all the glowing stuff with shiny lights blurring your vision, it would look like any other cheap walking sim. The character models look nice, so I think the world would've looked much better with a slightly more stylized look to it, probably would age a bit better too.
Great Story, great Design but short playtime and some bugs
