A silly little physics-based game about moving on... or is it? Be neat, be careful, or be a chaos goblin. The choice is yours. But be warned, not all is as it seems in this quiet little house.

Karen Green simulator.
a genuinely wonderful concept for a game and a bit of a trojan horse if you don't read too much about it ahead of time. on the surface, the bright colors, simple shading, and smooth rendering lull you into a false sense of security before the game tells you what it's REALLY about (d̵̺̽o̷̞͂ṉ̷̌'̸̞̾ṱ̶͐ ̴̗͌ǧ̴͚ō̸͈ ̸̺̏i̶̛̠n̵̙͌ ̴̛͙ṭ̶̌h̸̍ͅe̵̛̝ ̶̤͊b̷͈͂â̴͈s̶̱̚ë̷͚́m̶͕̉ë̷̥́n̶͔͛t̷̗̏), and even on a second playthrough I found it so exciting. the music's great and the game itself runs extremely well so I'd say this is a big success for Gord Games. don't listen to any of the haters that say it's not worth the baseline selling price, imo it's worth that and so much more to support a burgeoning indie game dev!
The price isn't right for how tiny this game is, wait for a very steep sale before buying. The concepts are interesting but explored in a cliché way, and very very surface level.
8/10 well that took a turn

I really liked the game but I am so sad that it's such a small game! I NEED more! I really enjoyed the gameplay and the story that went with it.
Some Thoughts: Why can't I open the garage door or the side door? I'm moving stuff from my garage to the moving truck, why would I go through the house? Performance somehow isn't that great, and the framerate is choppy with/without vsync getting 180fps+ The spookiest thing about this game is the fact that the person (people) in this house have 3 different dressers in the same room that all have socks and underwear in different drawers. The actual scares in this game are pretty basic haunted house stuff. I had to look up a walkthrough because the textures with the numbers for a solution to a puzzle never loaded. I get what it's going for with the basement section but it's just kind of confusing and it sucks The task dialogue is fun enough but the actual story is a little too generic and vague to be engaging Having now played the cut content, I like the IDEA of going deeper into the basement better, but both the cut basement and the hospital in the game suffer from the same bad idea of it being a mostly directionless, wandering maze. Ultimately, I still liked the game and it's House of Leaves vibes enough to say play it if you're interested, but only if you can get it less than $5. It's for sure not worth the $14 asking price, sorry dev.
I wanted to like this game alot. I think with the rise of simulator games it's fun to have spooky themes mixed with the general act of packing a house. While that seems great Packing simulator falls on many fronts. What it has is not alot of content, cheap jumpscares (Who uses STOCK photos for jump scares?) and some pretty mid writing. The game had some potential with some of the more quiet scares and themes. I think the moments of going to other areas or the furniture you just packed being on the ceiling is decent. But the price isn't worth it. For $14 you could easily get some other horror games with better content. I really wanted to like this game. But I left disappointed. I even opted to get all the achievements just to see how much time that'd add. Ended up only getting four hours of content. The time I spent on it wasn't horrible but I think of other horror games that really offer alot more. If you're okay shelling out $14 for a horror game that won't really scare you but has some decently okay simulator mechanics than sure! But I'd highly recomend maybe picking another game.
Just a regular, totally normal & cozy game about moving houses :)
This game is beautifully weird, oddly specific at times, and deeply personal without getting too close. I loved it and wish I'd played it sooner. It brings back the charm of my favourite games in this style and format.
