A point-and-click adventure where you enter a fantasy world through a wardrobe to recover a teddy bear stolen by a spider. Although the playtime is short, the game features intriguing and unique puzzles. The charming pixel art contrasts sharply with the unexpectedly raw and intense content, leaving a lasting impression.
Finding Teddy is a point and click adventure game where you play as a little girl who has to rescue her beloved teddy bear from a monster. To do so, she has to travel through a mysterious forest world and help its inhabitants. I really struggled with the puzzles here, particularly the music puzzles. I didn't understand what they were going for until I looked it up.
The first notes you get didn't look like letters to me until I read about it in a guide
The rest of the puzzles made somewhat more sense to me. I still ended up needing a lot of hints, but the answers are usually logical enough that a more patient player would probably have been able to figure them out alone. The story is minimalist and very short, but I liked what we got. The little girl making friends with all the forest creatures is cute and I thought the ending was very sweet. The pixel art was also really cute and the music was very relaxing. I liked exploring the world, although in some places the map was a bit of a maze, and I liked the way the sound design was incorporated in finding the firefly collectables. Overall, Finding Teddy was good. The puzzles were tough, but not poorly designed, and the story and atmosphere were pretty cute. 7/10
Finding Teddy left such an impression on me that, even after 10 years, I still remember it vividly. I first played it on my phone, and its beautiful pixel art and hauntingly atmospheric music drew me in right away. The game has this quiet, magical charm that sticks with me even after all these years. It's a short experience but filled with creative puzzles and a unique musical mechanic that I found truly memorable. It may not be a long game, but its impact lasts far beyond its playtime.
Puzzle game with nice pixel graphics. Sadly near the mid of the game (which I reached in less than 1 hour) the puzzles are not based on logic anymore but you have to click on stuff or combine things in ways that are not clear or explained. The "puzzle" that got me to quit was where you have to combine a fly companion with a cat companion so that the fly can move the cat up to a ledge. Apart from the fact that this makes no sense, it was also not clear to me that you can even combine companions. This is not how puzzles should work. Also most of the game time is not spent on solving the puzzles but moving from room to room and each room takes a few seconds to load. As the graphics are minimalistic this feels like a try to stretch the short length of this game.
Vale a pena numa promoção , curti a história e bem tranquilo de platinar.
Excellent sound. Very relaxing little retro game. Find music letters and play them to different creatures to find and save your teddy bear.
A week ago I was diagnosed with MSD and the doctors have given me a year at best. I'm so glad I was able to play this before I go. I don't know how many people will see this; but I recommend to you to play this game if you do see it. Gameplay, atmosphere, graphics. everything is masterfully crafted. If you read it, thank you and good bye.
