ux design is awful. i cant tell which "buttons" i can click on due to lack of mouse hover feedback, rolling for events is a painfully slow and for some reason i still have to select the event after rolling, no keybind to just draw the next event (especially when most of the events are dice roll events) i keep encountering a bug where i am unable to draw the next event after healing someone with the potion. it seems like this happens if you click the potion twice too fast after ending an event also i cannot use the archer's 3x target skill when there arent 3 enemies???? are you serious? attack movement is very clunky to use. if an enemy hides on the lowest part of the map, you cannot select them if the card blcoks them (workaround by zooming out)
i'll never understand game developers that come so close to greatness but don't follow through with the final polishing touches to get it there

Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Jul 30 → 0/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Well, they went backwards with this one and changed the entire game to this weird card playing format that is nothing like the first two and looks like it's trying to copy the Hand Of Fate and all the endless card game genre games. The game isn't as fun as the second one and really doesn't seem fair or balanced. Literally every dice roll was between 1-4 even though it goes up to 10 then just randomly getting 10s. It was like the dice is heavily weighted, 1,1,1,2,2,2,3,3,3,4,4,4,4,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,10,10 This is the worst one so far, DO NOT BUY.
Well, it's quite a detour from DQ2, but a very nice game nonetheless.
If you were a fan of the Hero Quest board game in the 90's, then this will satisfy your itch. The game is really fun and addicting, and before you know it, you're stuck on Chaos Castle. You can become an azure dragon too!
Great nice game. Took me +/- 40 hours in normal mode to finish and I enjoy all of it. Good gameplay, doesn't try to screw you too randomly. Not much replayability once you've finished it but it doesn't matter to me personally. I think there could be a bit more of vilain developement but even that is not a bad thing. It's just a nice gameplay-oriented game that doesn't try to do to much, which is what I want sometimes. Will get the fourth instalment right away. Congrats on the small team that did it!
A complete disaster compared to the first two games. The excessive randomness, poorly designed mechanics and badly balanced difficulty make the combat frustrating rather than enjoyable. The boss fights are poorly designed, and the overall gameplay feels much less polished than is predecessors. Dark quest 3 completely killed my interest in the franchise. After this one, I have no deisre to play the next games. 100% Completion Time : 3.3H Completion Difficulty : 2/10 Playthroughs : 2 Missables : None Notable requirements : Complete two playthroughs, choosing all locations from one side duing the first run and the other side during the second.
Kesinlikle tavsiye ediyorum.
This is an addicting game. I like it. It's easy to play "one more run" as you think you discovered a different strategy for one of the heroes. I've unlocked a few, but have a long way to go. It's a good game that you don't have to think too hard about when you're playing but you can still be strategic and there are a few levels to the strategy. It's great on sale, definitely worth $19 at full price too.
I normally like games like this, but this one is just bad. You start with very few attack options. Full of bizarre choices like having no maximum health for your characters.
