Monstrous Liberation

A surprisingly enjoyable AVN. The writing is funny and charming, the sex scenes are hot, the few characters this early (13 days after EA release) are colorful and likable enough to give me hope for future updates, and the overall story is interesting. In fact, there are times it goes just enough into detail about certain lore aspects of the world to make it feel fleshed out and coherent, but without fixating on the mechanics to the point of being distracting. Good writing, in general. The only problem I have, at least with the current content of the game (only one region available) is that the "gameplay loop" is just: talk to person, talk to mentor, talk to person again, talk to mentor, talk to person, MAYBE talk to the person once more, and then you win that character's route. There's not much choice or agency involved, no day/night cycle so a week of time can pass even if you talk to the same person twice in a row, etc. Which I guess isn't a big deal for an AVN, and not something that necessarily needs to change; I was just hoping that the "Exploration" tag meant there would be more to it. Even if they follow the current formula, I'd be perfectly fine with it as long as the quality of the writing is maintained. That's the biggest strength of it so far.

Monstrous Liberation is an AVN with a fairly typical story setup: the protagonist plays a heroine who must defeat a villain. However, the game adds some interesting twists, such as being an Isekai set in a world filled with magic and various humanoid species. Since this is a lewd-focused game, this premise works particularly well, as it allows the protagonist to interact with a diverse range of love interests while gathering allies to take down the antagonist. This is also where the game truly shines—the dialogue is excellent, and the characters are well-written with distinct personalities. Currently, in the early access version, there are four different characters available for support, and this only covers the first part of the city map. Speaking of the city map, it serves as the "free roam" element of the VN. You can choose where to go, determining which characters you interact with. However, beyond that, there isn’t much choice regarding how the main story unfolds. Now, onto what some of you might be most interested in—the sex scenes. They are quite unique, as the characters themselves are very different from one another. At this point in development, you can engage with a slime girl, a thick witch, a succubus, and a minotaur. The writing for these scenes is quite hot, and the artwork is good, though fairly simple, as there are no animations. Overall, the production quality is solid, and the game already feels polished. One notable design choice is that the developer opted to use real photos for background art in nearly all scenes except for the lewd ones. Personally, I don’t mind it—the chosen photos fit well—but I can see how some players might dislike this approach. Final Verdict: A charming AVN with great characters and well-written dialogue, making it well worth the asking price in my opinion. [h2]Finally a good naughty visual novel again[/h2] It has a [u]nice story[/u] that is quite [u]well written[/u]. It's not just there to ship the [u]relatable protagnoist[/u] from one se[b][/b]x scene to the next, but it's actually in-depth, detailed and immersive. Prepare to read [b]a lot[/b] of text, but in this visual novel it's actually worth it. The [u]graphics are nice[/u], too. Well, the backgrounds are often just blurry photos, but otherwise the art is top-notch. The quirky protagonist and her thi[b][/b]cc mentor are a feast for the eyes. [u]And the se[b][/b]xy scenes are a feast for a sore soul[/u] due to how detailed and well written they are. Experiencing se[b][/b]x from a woman's perspective is awesome! The po[b][/b]rn scenes usually have very generic po[b][/b]rn music, but the biggest part of the remaining music was actually nicer to listen to than I expected. It puts you in the shoes of a streamer named Sasha, who gets sent to a fantasy world after stumbling upon a pair of magical scissors that can cut through any enchantment, and soon after sees herself involved in a rebellion to free the inhabitants of Civitas Imperio from the mind-controlling spell of The Usurper. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3448639315 The story is as enjoyable as I expected, as it grabs your attention from the get-go and keeps you engaged until the end, wondering how Sasha is going to free each of the monsterfolk from their mind control. It's largely linear despite the game's sandbox mechanics since each new area opens once you free all the monster people from the previous one, and the choices featured in the game only affect the order you free them and some dialogues and scenes here and there. The characters are well-written and so likable that they grow on you quickly, plus the few tidbits of lore regarding them and, in the monsterfolk's case, their species make them more than just a walking archetype. The game's visuals are gorgeous, featuring detailed characters with vivid colors and a wide variety of body types, ensuring that players will find something that tickles their fancy, whether you're into petite gals, THICC women, burly women that could shatter your head with their thunder thighs and make you thank her for it, and everything in between. It also translates into a variety of scenes that you can revisit in the gallery once you unlock them, as it includes heterosexual scenes, lesbian scenes, sex with futas, threesomes, and so on. visual novel game, doesn't have much right now outside of liberating 3 characters, has roughly 7 lewd scenes. with one scene having I wanna say 4 alts? story seems interesting, I'd say wait a bit for more updates before purchasing it, but definitely worth the buy

Received this game as a gift and have enjoyed it a lot! It has good humor and I’m very invested in the story! (And of course the spicy scenes 😮‍💨) The game reminds me a bit of interspecies reviewers a bit XD lots of sexing (not a bad thing) I can’t wait to see what comes in with the new updates! Highly recommend!
