At first glance it looks like a fun archer defense with roguelike upgrades, but once you get those upgrades you realize it's all garbage. It's just a big let down. Sparks that kill on hit? Misses like 90% of the time because they are like 3 pixels. I've literally seen them weave in between enemies. Hawk that dive bombs enemies? 100% miss rate. Arrow that calls down lightning? 50/50, depends on how fast they are. Stack an element and unlock the super for it? I got the lightning and you have no control where it hits. Does it hit the large group or miss entirely? Mostly misses. Getting upgrades just isn't satisfying, even on the meta upgrades that carry on between runs. Half is expensive stuff that give 2% increases with a max level of 5, the other half is general game unlocks. Looking back at the store page video I guess it's not surprising. All the combat scenes has the turtle being swamped with enemies. Half the game is also collecting resources. Sometimes it's a tiny squirrel, a bird, or a one pixel whatever. Sometimes the click won't register and you have to switch back and forth between modes.
My friend gifted me this game because it has Turtle in the title, like my username. I like this game. It's addictive and I can enjoy it in small portions of one or two hours, so it won't consume the whole day. I feel challenged, but not overwhelmed.
Fun, but short game. once everything is unlocked or you beat the game once. there's not much variation anymore. Endless waves is all that's left and that gets boring fast
many yes, turtles together strong
An aim trainer disguised as a rouge like, lite, lake or whatever the proper wording is. Full pun intended Turtle RIders is a real slow paced rootin tootin shot missing good time. There are three maps with their corresponding bosses at the end you have to clear before you can get the final boss dude and with how few upgrades you get in between each run can be vastly different. This is a great lil aim trainer and Im always having a good time romping around sober or sloshed. The game itself is brutally hard In my opinion. Even with all the meta upgrades and perfect aim; the sheer volume of enemies vs random blu birds to click all at once make the whole experience much harder. Totally recommend Turtle Riders.
Gameplay is good, turtle is cute, you can pet the cat.
Solid tower defense roguerlike with just enough creepy atmosphere to add some spice on top of 'just one more round' gmaeplay. Simple, but fun and effective.
The game is fun especally for the price its great The biggest downside is the endless mode i love endless modes but that the endless mode feels shorter than the normal mode isn't that cool to have longer runs with crazy stacked builds in late stages would be so much more awesome
Rating: Dito: 4.8/5 Chat: 3.94/5 Gesamt: 4.37/5
