Fun to play. Fun to create teams and fight other players.

Not a complete game by any means. Possibly good gameplay loop, but needs balancing, content and plenty of polishing.

I have about 10 hours between this and the demo. Can confirm, fun and addicting.

The developer is very interactive with his community and teaches all about game development. I can clearly see all of his lessons integrated into the game. I've really enjoyed the clarity of the design and unique art styles combination! Really looking forward to updates and future games!

Really enjoyed the demo and have been saving playing anymore until full release. Just beat a run and the game feels really good. Lots to play with as far as challenges/achievements and will definitely be trying out some of the harder stuff. The developer has been active with the community during development and I expect this will be a really cool and well supported project. Cant wait to battle some of the teams other people build in the async multiplayer.

Pretty tricky to understand having not played this genre before. Tutorial could be fleshed out more, mostly figured it out trial and error. After that I quite enjoyed the game, got a good 8 hours fun out of it.

I don’t play a lot of strategy games because I tend to find them overwhelming, but this was actually really easy to get into! There’s plenty of choice to keep the game new and interesting every time you play it, but it presents itself in a way you can understand it quickly and get into the actual gameplay. And it’s a lot of fun to see how other people are playing the game in arena mode, where you can see new team combo ideas. There’s a level of luck and skill to Mirror Throne that feels balanced and very fun, and makes you want to continue trying to win.

Very fun. Reminds me a bit of FTL and games like that where you traverse a map looking for upgrades.

My first real experience of this genre, and I found it pleasantly addicting. The mixed art styles gives it a aesthetic that reminds me of playing with action figures as a kid. The synergies of different units work well enough to win with entirely different strategies, and a whole campaign can be completed in an adult gamer attainable number of minutes. Very cool, Would recommend.
