i played it a lot in the beginning, stopped after a while coz while i can win and finish a game i never get to see it again. like in civilization we have hall of fame which shows our past games with different civs with some score attached. i wish millennia also did that. its kinda disappointing finishing a game and never anything related to it again :(
Actually does something new, and while it is a bit clunky in spots, and hard to understand in others, in those areas it innovates, it excels. I'm talking specifically about the varying and alternative ages; they make this game fantastic. Its a fun, reasonably priced game, that actually offers something different from other games in the same category.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Millennia has DLC already but it feels like a game stuck in Early Access. The AI is bad and there's no map editor. You can create your own Civilizations but you can't create your own town or city list. So even if I wanted to create a Fictional Nation I would have to Select the only ones it comes with. This game though has alot of potential so I'll change the review once the game gets better( ALOT BETTER). But the Age system is really cool and I love the Age of Aether. :(
5.9/10 and I can't recommend it to anyone - there are simply better and more solid 4X games out there. So why it's not thumbs down? Millenia has something in it that leaves you with the idea to come back a year later, try a different route and maybe some DLCs.
It's Ok certainly better than Civ 7 .

It is still too rough around the edges for $40. The devs innovated and tried new things which is great but all of the innovations fall flat. The game can be fun and then halfway through it just decides that you need to build 4 buildings out of no where. Overall I think one day if they keep refining it, this game will be okay, not amazing and not worth nearly $100 USD WITH DLC AFTER ONLY BEING OUT LESS THAN ONE YEAR but it will be a nice pick up for $25 all dlc included.
