Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
No United States chart position — it charts only in the markets below.
Latest in each market: best BR #65, worst CN #78 · 2 markets collected
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

The survival mechanics can be interesting, but actually playing the game is more frustrating than fun. The controls feel clunky, and figuring out what to do often turns into unnecessary confusion instead of rewarding exploration. It has good ideas, but I spent more time fighting the interface than surviving the jungle.

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Aug 18: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

So, I decided to give Green Hell a go, and honestly? It felt less like a survival game and more like a trip to the local Spar during a blackout. Here’s how my "authentic" South African experience went down: The Foraging Phase: Started my day foraging for food. Or, as we call it in SA, trying to find a loaf of fresh white bread after the delivery truck got stuck in a pothole the size of a Citi Golf. The "Local Resident" Encounter: Within ten minutes, I got attacked by a leopard. Look, it’s not quite the same as being chased by the neighbour's unchained Pitbull while you're just trying to take the bins out, but the panic felt exactly the same. The Healthcare Experience: I limped over to the hospital for my wounds, but—in true Mzansi fashion—there was absolutely no help. I’m pretty sure the NPC nurse was on a tea break or the system was "offline." The Immersive Atmosphere: Suddenly, the screen went dark. No power. I thought, "Yoh, Stage 6 loadshedding again..." Then I realized it was just the game. At this point, the line between the jungle and Johannesburg is basically non-existent. Verdict: I eventually gave up on real life, sat in the dark, and went back to playing Green Hell on my laptop (thank God for the inverter). If you want to experience the thrill of fighting for your life, navigating broken infrastructure, and avoiding predators—all while wondering where the electricity went—skip the flight to South America. Just go to SA.
This game is recommended as a hard survival but in reality it is just badly designed. At first you are tossed to the world full of new mechanics that you need to learn and the only difficulty is the amount of them because after 2-3 hours you know what causes what and how to manage it, which makes even "highest difficulty" quite easy. What really is hard about this game is traveling through the unnecesary complicated map. It is created to be time consuming and ends up being main cause of frustration, it takes unnecessary long time to complete simple tasks. Because of this fact playing took me 87 hours despite plot being 3-8 hours considering base and spirits of amazonia. What also was stretching the playtime was the achievements. Most of them are only for the purpose of keeping you longer in the game for no reason, mostly it is running from point A to B and then C which is near the A and so on. Fighting system is underdeveloped. Basicly all you need is a bow and after the headshot the rest of the enemies won't even agro on you. Usually you destroy whole village without enemies even attacking you. Building base and raising animals/plants costs you a huge amunt of time and you have to be near the base all the time and after this It even doesn't pay off because it is much easier to just wonder through the jungle and collect resources. You need to be constantly on the move for plot reasons also so in this game it is better to jus play as a nomad. Even If you wanna do it for fun it becomes boring quickly beacause of the amount of resources you will need and there is no reason to do that at all. And usually I love farming resources. Note worthy, despite four different food statistics you only need water to survive. The plot is really simple and doesn't add up overall. Main character is Antropologist and wrote a book about Amazon but his girlfiend needs to teach him basic stuff. Basicly he is a big baby with anger issues. To summarise this game is not hard, It is badly designed, there is a lot of glitches and It is artificially prolonged especially if you want achievements. If I wasn't completing them with my girlfriend I would have stopped playing after few hours.

Green Hell right from the start tries to overwhelm you with amount of icons and mechanics of possible injuries, which may make quite a lot of people discouraged from continuing. I took my time however and did every achievement and I have some notes. First of all, this game was supposed to be "super realistic and hard", however it is neither of those. It's just overwhelming at first, when you get a hold of mechanics, even highest difficulty is easy. It's also not really realistic - more like not properly made. I absolutely love taming animals in EVERY game, but this game makes taming animals absolutely NOT fun. I have never been this annoyed. You can call your animal but when you try to swap it's pen it's going to lose all of taming in like 5 seconds. Also it takes so much time for them to get tamed and have children. And if you want to keep them alive you have to spam food bowls, because your animal for sure will die if you leave it for a day alone with one FULL bowl. I also encountered a bug where my already tamed Peccari just disappeared. That was for sure fun - wasting three in game days, which where like about idk two-three hours in real life? Obviously it does feel like a cheap copy of The Forest but I REALLY wanted to like this game. Main character is unpleasant annoying guy, who can't control his emotions AT ALL. He's yelling, cursing and sighing every drop of water he misses, every fire he tries to make, every axe breaking. I have never played a game with such a repulsive protagonist. Lore is not working at all, especially if you try to connect base game with spirits of amazonia. You have a wall of text in notes, his wife is acting weird and unnatural and feels sexualised with her "spanish", which btw exist only in base game, in spirits of amazonia she doesn't talk this way anymore. Building feels like a chore and it's actually totally unnecessary to progress in this game. I'd even say that it's pointless to do base. But if you do, remember that you can't save on a treehouse if someone else is hosting game. You will fall. I did. EVERY single time I got fall damage/died. Just because I saved the game in the treehouse and came back to play. Base game feels empty, spirit of amazonia is much better in terms of having anything interesting to do. Although game tries to make you notice harm you can do to natives, at the same time their design especially in main game feels really racist-like and Spirits of Amazonia suffers from white saviour complex. Map itself is unpleasant - there is an invisible wall or unreachable mountain nearly every corner. Sticks disappear into the ground. You can get stuck in a variety of places. Animals spawn or disappear however they want. While playing long your animals at some point will just stop existing so you know it's time to reenter world so they would actually appear again. It's artificially prolonged, which makes absolutely no sense. I feel it's pretty visible that this game is not enjobayle - what do you mean only around 6% people have an achievement for ending? It means game is not working at all how it's supposed to be working. Idea itself was fun - survival in amazonia. I was SO excited to play this game, I REALLY wanted to like it - I LOVE survivals with my partner. But this game is not it. It's boring or annoying or confusing. Achievements are challenging but again, not because of difficulty of the game, just because of how it's done. I feel like if I haven't played with my partner I would absolutely suffer throught game. And no game should make you feel this way. I see other reviews - positives, but most of those people are playing under 15 hours, so their excitment won't fall of, before noticing how empty this game is. There is a reason this game is nearly always on a big discount. If you want to play - sure, go ahead. Have fun. However amount of people who actually progress in this game is low - which achievement % really shows. And if you want a sandbox... There is a lot of better ones.
Green Hell is an absolute, soul-crushing waste of time. You play as the most pathetic, needy, fragile little simp of a character ever put in a survival game. The entire experience is just watching this sad man constantly starve, dehydrate, and panic because he didn’t hit his precious daily macros. Hunger meter. Thirst meter. Protein. Carbs. Fats. Vitamins. Parasites. Infections. The game won’t shut up about any of it for five seconds. Every single session is the same loop of misery: Wake up → immediately starving and thirsty → scramble for berries and dirty water → get sick → scramble for more food → get more sick → sleep → wake up even hungrier and thirstier than before. Rinse and repeat until you want to throw your PC out the window. There is no fun. There is no adventure. There is no satisfaction. Just a never-ending checklist of basic bodily functions that this weak, helpless protagonist somehow cannot manage without your constant babysitting. The jungle isn’t dangerous because of predators or tribes, it’s dangerous because your character is a walking nutritional crisis who will die if he doesn’t eat the exact right combination of bugs and leaves every few hours. Calling this a “survival game” is generous. It’s a virtual eating disorder simulator with extra steps. The combat is janky, the story is forgettable, the crafting is tedious, and the only thing the game is actually good at is making you feel like you’re wasting your life watching a digital man fail at staying alive. Do yourself a favor. Don’t buy it. Don’t play it. Don’t even look at it. Your time is worth more than managing this simp’s calorie count.
So, it's been a while since I played this game. It never clicked for me the first time- playing Solo. The controls don't feel good, don't make sense. No real accessibility features that help me with my arthritic hands, other than disabling QTEs, and doing so seemed to make the game feel less realistic and more staged. The UI is confusing, figuring out how to build a shelter that I could save at took over 5 hours of play. Felt like it shouldn't be that confusing, but the book of instructions felt hard to navigate and find what I needed, exploration felt awful- running around in circles instead of discovering new interesting stuff. I may come back to it and start from a new game, instead of loading up an old save that I know I messed up a ton of stuff in, early on. But I doubt the controls will ever feel good to me, and I doubt the UI will ever make sense to me. The "realism" in the art is really cool, but a game that looks great, but runs badly, glitches out frequently, and has unintuitive controls and a confusing UI- not sure it'll ever click for me. Might for you, though. I know a bunch of people that really like the game. Just might not be a game for me. I thought I died a lot in TLD- nope. This game wants you dead even more than TLD does. Maybe co-op is better? But I prefer singleplayer games, and trying to set up co-op with other friends in other parts of the world is always difficult for someone with a weird work schedule like me. I hate that Steam doesn't have a "Good game, but just not for me." option on reviews, but for now, that's where this game sits for me.
That was far better than I thought it was going to be! And the "prequel" was even longer than the actual story line game! I can totally see how playing with friends would be fun too. It was a bit violent for my liking. There were parts where i felt kinda...gross, especially when i was trying to get my arrows back from dead guys and their vacant eyes just bore into my soul as I repeatedly tried to move them around to grab the arrows. And the other thing I thought was super randomly violent was the guys swear raging when small inconviences happened. I had to change my dialogue to Chinese just so he wouldn't scream the B word while lighting a fire. It was genuinely creepy and very suspensful walking through the jungle and being completely beholden to sounds. Those freaking spiders! Anyway, way more fun than I thought it was going to be. I played the green hell out of it.
