Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.29/day in the week to Aug 29 → 0/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

a great puzzle. the essence of the game is to solve all the riddles and collect all the leaves
LEAVES – The Return is a delicate, dreamlike puzzle adventure that embraces an entirely handcrafted sensibility, inviting players into a world that feels less like a traditional video game and more like a living art installation. Developed by ZAR 21 and published by Daedalic Entertainment, the experience continues the surreal journey begun in LEAVES – The Journey, bringing players once again to the strange land of the Treefruities, whimsical forest creatures whose home has lost its precious leaves. Instead of leaning on dialogue or conventional storytelling, the game conveys its narrative almost entirely through atmosphere, visual cues, and the quiet logic of its puzzles. This gives the experience a gentle, contemplative rhythm. You’re not pushed toward objectives or pressured by timers; instead, you wander through a series of sculpted diorama-like worlds that feel as though they were assembled by hand, each screen unfolding like an entry in a naturalist’s scrapbook stitched with imagination. Visually, LEAVES – The Return is its own unique creature. Every environment is constructed from photographed and textured handmade models—paper, clay, fabric, sticks, and organic materials—giving the game a tactile realism that digital art rarely achieves. It’s the kind of design that immediately catches the eye: creatures look like they were built from leaves and twine, landscapes resemble whimsical sculptures, and the world feels at once alien and familiar. This collage-like aesthetic creates a sense of wonder, inviting the player to observe details carefully since many puzzles rely on noticing small environmental clues. The sound design supports this delicacy beautifully. Soft ambient music and understated environmental effects wrap each scene in a meditative quiet, encouraging players to settle into the game’s unhurried rhythm. The puzzles form the backbone of LEAVES – The Return, and they are more varied and demanding than they initially appear. Many require pattern recognition, precise observation, and a willingness to experiment. The game rarely gives explicit instructions, so solving puzzles feels like deciphering visual logic rather than executing predefined steps. This can be immensely satisfying when a solution clicks—when a cluster of symbols suddenly makes sense or an odd mechanism reveals its proper sequence through careful attention to detail. Because each puzzle ties directly to its environment, there’s a natural flow between exploration and problem-solving that makes the world feel cohesive. You aren’t collecting abstract objects or performing arbitrary tasks; you’re interacting with strange machines, organic structures, and symbolic arrangements that feel native to this miniature world. However, the strengths of LEAVES – The Return also shape its limitations. The absence of narrative scaffolding means some players may feel unmoored, lacking context or emotional connection beyond the Treefruities’ plight. The game expects patience—sometimes more than players might be prepared to give. Certain puzzles can feel cryptic to the point of opacity, especially when the visual cues are subtle or when multiple areas must be revisited to gather enough information. Backtracking can become tedious in sections where traversal requires multiple transitions between screens, and since there’s no fast-travel system, some players may feel the pacing lags. The hint system, while helpful, risks undermining the process of discovery by offering solutions too quickly if used repeatedly, creating an unintentional tension between maintaining flow and preserving challenge. The game’s short length is another point of consideration. Most players complete the experience in just a few hours. For some, this brevity enhances its artistic impact—there’s no filler, no unnecessary padding. But for others, the limited scope leaves them wishing for additional areas, more puzzles, or a greater sense of progression. Replayability is modest, since puzzle solutions remain largely the same on subsequent playthroughs; the game is more about the immediate, singular experience than long-term engagement. Despite these drawbacks, LEAVES – The Return succeeds profoundly at what it sets out to do: create a strange, beautiful, and contemplative puzzle world that rewards curiosity and quiet thinking. It’s an experience that prioritizes ambience over action, subtlety over spectacle, and imagination over exposition. Players who appreciate gentle, atmospheric puzzle games—those who enjoy titles like Samorost, Botanicula, or other abstract indie adventures—will likely find LEAVES enchanting and memorable. Those seeking a more guided, story-driven, or complex experience may find its minimalism too stark. In the end, LEAVES – The Return is a small but lovingly crafted journey through a handcrafted fantasy ecosystem. It’s a reminder that games can function as meditative explorations of space and form, offering moments of quiet reflection rather than explosive excitement. For players willing to approach it with patience, curiosity, and a willingness to decode its visual language, it becomes a charming and atmospheric puzzle adventure unlike anything else. Rating: 8/10
Like leaves 1 this sports a nice range of various puzzles. However I cannot recommend this as it feels like an inferior game to the first. This game is having more backtracking, some puzzles that must be repeated to traverse. Also there are some none obvious interactibles, two of whom caused some frustration.
Leaves - The Return

Puzzles parfois trop simples

Beautiful artwork, challenging puzzles (at times a bit maddening)
You get a monocle. I didn't find many hidden things with it, but I felt significantly more sophisticated while failing to solve the puzzles. I am now considering wearing one to the grocery store.
