classic old game
Runs great, exact how I remember or at least my vague recollection of it. Fun nostalgia, and if you like RTS games recommend to give it a shot. In my opinion a underrated classic.
老经典
Mix Command and Conquer 1 with Mad Max and you have KKND. It's a C&C1 clone. Even though it came out 18 months after C&C, KKND is much more basic and bare bones, lacking many of the features that the older game had, presumably because it was made by a smaller studio. The options screen gives you only two parameters to change, SFX and music volume, to give you one example of what I'm talking about. The in-game command and control options are similiarly bare bones. What KKND has going for it is a vibey post-apoc aesthetic, jamming tunes and quirky Aussie humour. If you like mid-'90s RTS games then you might enjoy it. I didn't play it back in the day, but I still found it fun to play. It's definitely a few pegs down from the quality of the game that inspired it, but if you want more from that era then it's got something to offer. I'd say it stands up better for a modern play than Dark Reign 1 (1997) for example.
KKND to klasyka gatunku obok SC1 i C&C.
my fav PSX RTS
KKND: Krush Kill ’n Destroy is a solid and very enjoyable classic RTS — and the game that started the KKND universe. The post-apocalyptic setting, the factions, and the gritty atmosphere were already very distinctive for their time. Gameplay is straightforward, challenging, and feels properly old-school. You can clearly see the foundation that later made the series special. That said, while KKND1 is definitely a good game, it doesn’t reach the depth, polish, and overall brilliance of KKND2: Krossfire. The sequel expanded on almost every aspect and simply did it better. Still, KKND1 deserves respect — especially for fans of classic RTS games and anyone who wants to experience where the series began. A strong classic, slightly rough around the edges, but absolutely worth playing — especially if you plan to continue with the masterpiece that is KKND2. Recommended for RTS fans and KKND lovers. 👍
