Age of Empires: Star Wars Edition! And its very excellent, mind you :) Deserves a remake! OR at least a modern Remastering for the modern PC
It's literally Age of Empires II but reskinned with a Star Wars coat of paint, and honestly, that is a spectacular combination. Building up a base as the Galactic Empire, managing shields, and sending a swarm of Mech troops to crush a Wookiee village feels incredibly satisfying. The pathfinding can be a bit dated and janky, but the sheer nostalgia and classic RTS mechanical depth make it a blast to play.
Never forget how fun the classics are. Then again, I may just be old.
love the game but like age of empires 2 needs a remaster asap back in the day very playable but now with even 1080p monitors its hard to see and play the game
Kind of like ages of empire but star wars infused instead. Played a lot in the past and loved it as a kid.
Its a fun game but it cannot handle modern computers and crashes every 10 minutes

This is the most genius idea Lucas Arts ever had for a game, I remember playing this some 25 years ago when it first came out, I bought it cause it was built on the Age of Empires 2 Engine but I soon came to like this game even more the AOE2. Plus it is so great to have a AOE2 based game on steam that you don't have to pay 65 dollars or more for all the DLC's, you should definitely buy this game before they ever make a remake or a definitive edition as if they ever do they will very likely ruin what is already a really awesome game. It may not be up to the standards of modern games but for the time this was made it was, I am very happy to be able to play it again. I for one hope they never Remake this game ♥♥♥♥ Remakes...
