[h1] 의도치않게 슈퍼영웅의 힘을 훔치면서 세상의 운명을 짊어지게된 답없는 소녀 릴리의 모험이야기 [/h1] Epiphany City는 우연히 슈퍼영웅의 힘을 훔치면서 세상의 운명을 짊어지게 되는 불행한 소녀 릴리의 모험이야기를 다룬 스토리 게임이다. 별도의 탐험요소없이 스토리를 따라가면 되는 게임이며, 이 게임을 풀어가는데에 약간의 퍼즐이 포함되어 있지만, 정말 간단한 퍼즐들로 되어있어 어렵지 않게 스토리를 따라갈 수 있는 간단한 게임이다. 게임은 유년시절의 릴리의 모습을 보여주면서 시작한다. 유년시절의 릴리는 병든 엄마와 함께 살았지만 행복한 나날을 보냈지만 시간이 흘러 엄마의 병은 더 깊어지고, 생일 파티에는 15명에게 초대를 보냈지만 단짝인 로즈 빼고 불참하게 된다. 엎친데 곂친 격으로 엄마의 수술비용이 10만달러이고 그 큰 돈을 내기위해 슈퍼영융인 하버트의 커미션에 지원하지만 잘 되지 않고 오히려 살던 집에도 내쫒겨나게 되면서 이야기가 시작된다. 이토록 불행한 일의 연속이었던 릴리가 우연히 슈퍼영웅의 힘을 얻게 되고 예언을 실행하게 된다. 게임은 이런 스토리텔링식으로 진행되며 스토리를 풀어나가는 중에 약간의 퍼즐이 진행된다. 퍼즐은 액자를 통해 그림을 옮겨서 특정 기믹들을 해결하는 방식인데 게임 내에 설명도 나오고, 난이도도 어린 아이들이 즐길 수 있을 정도로 쉽기 때문에 어려운 퍼즐을 하고 싶어하는 사람들에게는 실망할 수 있지만, 간단하게 즐길 수 있는 난이도이기 때문에 편하게 게임을 진행할 수 있다. 아쉬운 점이 있다면, 특정 부분의 내용이 유독 길게 나오는데 (커맨드 입력하는 부분) 굳이 이렇게 이쪽 파트만 길게 만들었어야하는 의문이 들었다. 그 부분에서 약간의 집중력이 흐뜨러져서 졸음이 오기도 했는데 그 부분만 뺴고는 전체적으로 꽤 괜찮았으며 미국식 특유의 시트콤같은 대화들이 재미있었다. 한글 미지원이라 영어로 지원을 해야하며, 고교영어수준을 벗어나는 영단어들도 여럿 있긴 하지만, 고등학교 영어 수준이면 이해가 다 될거라고 생각되며 분량도 2~3시간이면 엔딩을 볼 수 있기 때문에 영어 때문에 걱정하는 분들도 플레이하는데는 그렇게 어렵지는 않을거라는 생각이든다. 요약하면, 간단하게 즐길 수 있는 스토리텔링형 퍼즐게임으로 난이도도 쉽기 때문에 스트레스 없이 간단하게 즐길 게임을 찾고 있는 분들에게 추천하는 바이다. 여담) 업적의 경우는 스토리를 진행하면 3개 뺴고 전부 해금 가능하다. 2개는 개발자를 찾는건데 액자를 만들 수 있게 되면 대저택을 액자로 만들어서 옮기면 숨겨진 방이 나오는데 거기서 개발자를 만날 수 있다. 대저택을 스토리상 2번 마주치는데 (같은 대저택임) 그 때 액자로 만들어서 들어가면 개발자 관련 업적2개 해금이 가능하고, 마지막은 엔딩 이후 게임의 메인페이지에서 크레딧을 보면 해금할 수 있다. (게임 시작할 때 크레딧 탭 확인을 못해봤는데 만약 게임 켜자마자 크레딧에 들어가면 아마 이 업적을 먼저 해금할수도??)

Hello Friends, Today I will review the game Epiphany City. This is very short indie puzzler game. The game features super heroes and people with powers. As the main female protagonist gains abilities, they have the ability to change the environment to solve random puzzles around the world. As the game progresses, the protagonist gains more and more abilities. Do not expect a very long game, but if a player wants a fun little puzzle game, this is a perfect game for them. Anyways, here is my pros and cons list: PROS: - A easy puzzle game with mechanics to move pieces around the world. - A easy game for achievement hunters to get all achievements due to the short length of the game. - Works on Windows 11 operating system. - Controller support, for some sections of the game. CONS: - The game is fully a puzzle game. Do not expect a fighting game. Logical skills to solve puzzles are required. - There are a couple hard puzzles to solve, but most have hints around the world. - No widescreen support. In fact there are 2 bars along the side of the game, like the game was designed to be on a smartphone. - There is a long button pressing section near end of game. It is quite hard to keep up with all the inputs. It reminds me of some of those older games QTE's. This seemed like filler levels for the developer of the game at that level, but this is their game, and this is just my opinion. Do I recommend this game? Yes, but do not expect a long game. I beat it personally in 3.5 hours, according to steam statistics for the game. It is easy to get all achievements for the game. Some of the puzzles can be challenging, but logically, can be figured out. Only 2 puzzles in the game mildly stumped me. One of them i even had to look on the internet for, but most i figured out on my own.

Você vai encontrar drama, ação, ficção científica, suspense e comédia no mesmo enredo, com um toque de humor ácido que te mantém curioso e interessado no game do início ao fim. O gráfico tá [b]lindão[/b] com aquela pegada cartoon que eu particularmente gosto bastante e a [b]trilha sonora[/b] casa perfeitamente com tudo. Temos uma [b]jogabilidade[/b] simples, mas que cumpre precisamente o que se propõe, visto que avançamos resolvendo [i]puzzles[/i] que aumentam gradualmente sua dificuldade a cada nível. De bônus, em promoção fica muito barato, apesar de valer o preço cheio, [strike]ou até mais[/strike]. E se por acaso você também gosta de platinar jogos, a melhor parte é que aqui a platina é bem tranquila, e se você der uma olhada nas conquistas antes de começar a jogatina consegue todas na primeira zerada. What a disappointment! Great game until QTE... "kickboxing" QTE is WAY TOO LONG but does not (?) require restarting from beginning "springs" QTE requires completing both (all?) springs in a group before timer runs out or group restart is triggered "springs" QTE requires completing ALL GROUPS before exiting (restarting after exiting requires restart from beginning of "springs" QTE) That's when I quit! I would gladly change my review to thumbs up if there was a SKIP option for the QTE events!

Jogo muito bacana e curto, o ruim que num consegui expandi a tela, ficou um vão de ambos lados, mas não atrapalha, joguei no teclado mesmo, foi bem de boas, com bastante puzzles, mas nada caótico; no jogo somos Lily, tensamente a vida dela virou de ponta cabeça, muitas situações complicadas ocorreram, após uma tentativa de ir conversar com a pessoa que todos ama, tudo mudou ... e nossa tarefa é salvar o mundo e a todos! As legendas não estão perfeitas, mas ajudam muito, eu recomendo, porém se você tem agonia de puzzles, recomendo cuidados rsrs

I can't recommend this game. It had a lot of potential but abandoned its premise at the end, going from a puzzle game to a quick time event fighting game. Even though a few puzzles felt nonsensical, I still really enjoyed the puzzle parts! But the ending giving up on puzzling and being a ridiculously long QTE section killed the game for me. Lily turning into a kick boxer instead of continuing to use art also feels wrong to me. She uses her smarts and her artistic skills to defeat evil, but at the end she turns into a "better" version of Superb Man? It shows a lack of faith and thought into the premise and how you could defeat the army using art and puzzles, instead of physical force.

Short and sweet puzzle game with a great story. Puzzles had the right amount of challenge and controls were great. Had a smile on my face the whole time I was playing, a great experience!

I played for 3 to 4 hours, but I was in offline mode for a while. A short, sweet puzzle game. I liked how the rules changed a little for each area. Works with a controller/steam deck, but the button prompts are for keyboard.

This game was a delightful suprise! I got this game on discount and thought nothing much of it. And WHAM! I was in for my own little Epiphany! This game while short (about 3hrs gameplay min), has some of the most unique spacial puzzling I've seen in a while! The way you solve puzzles are clever and make you think outside the frame. (pun intended). I was also suprised by how many different characters there were, the variance in different gaming elements and the diversity in the types of art, backgrounds and music you hear in this game! The only thing that is 50/50 for me is the story. It is half serious and half nonsensical and its hard to parse between the two sometimes. It is definitely consistently entertaining and unpredictable however, so it was never a dull moment. If you like puzzles and whimsical environments you'll love this game! This game is definitely worth it on sale!

I only wish it were longer. This is a very cute game with very fun gameplay :)
