Kor is a retro RPG with a variety of eccentric characters, goofy dialog, and turn-based combat where - in addition to strategizing - players must skillfully execute button combos in order to make attacks!

Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Aug 23 → 0/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

This game is a really fun, fresh and unique take on the old-school RPGs. I've been playing classics like Chrono Trigger recently and man, it's been so hard to find a new game that delivers genuine retro nostalgia while still giving you something new and exciting in terms of mechanics, story, etc. I love the world building in KOR, the OST, the unique combat mechanics, and most of all the writing -- the subversive and witty dialogue always catches me off guard and makes me laugh. If you're on the fence, definitely consider buying this one!
Something this game does really well is create a story with just the environment which is not easy. Every house in the village has something to find that tells you how the resident lives. I also appreciate the reward you get for exploring, through the humor of the comments your character makes. The game play was also a refreshing new style I myself have not experienced before. The key binds are fun to try and do as fast as you can for your attacks, and the strategy is needed but easy enough for even a simpleton like me to figure out. I highly recommend anybody who likes games such as Pokemon and west of loathing, to give the game a try.

The music is undoubtedly one of its standout features; it's a unique & memorable soundtrack that was easy on the ears and not overwhelming when it came to focusing on gameplay. While the main character and dialogue from characters can be pretty funny at times, there are a few drawbacks; The combat style, although super unique, took time to fully grasp. Also it's possible to rely heavily on basic attacks throughout the playthrough, potentially diminishing the depth of the experience (but this may have more to do with the difficulty I selected rather than mechanics, to be fair. Take it with a grain of salt.) I also found myself traversing long distances, leading to moments of monotony during gameplay. Overall, Kor is a charming adventure game. Despite its minor flaws, it has a really catchy chiptune soundtrack, super unique combat system, and an endearing protagonist. Fun for an afternoon at home!
This game is one of the best retro Pokemon style games I have played. It has very responsive controls and what seems to be a really good risk/reward mechanic. It's very charming and is just the right amount of challenge where it isn't overwhelming but is still a fun and varietal time. Oh, and slug.
its like better gameboy pokemon meets paper mario style action commands and you can make the colors trans
Neat little game with great GBC style pixel art
This game is clearly an homage to GameBoy games, but it has plenty of clever new ideas too. I particularly love the Warper, it's such a good idea and I always feel so smart when I warp my way to a trashcan and find some doops. The combat is also quite fun, even though I'm absolutely terrible at it. There's humor in this game too, I've chuckled out loud at several of the jokes. I haven't really touched on the plot, because I haven't finished the game yet. I'm pretty hooked already though and I'm excited to see what happens!
Charming indie game with a self aware style of humor. Heavy pokemon influences and a solid game time for money spent. Excited to see what the dev does next.
I'm having a lot of fun with this game! To be honest, I think my typing's getting faster just doing all the move combos. And all the different palette color swaps are really fun to mess around with! I'll update this review once I've finished the game with my total final thoughts, but right now I'm loving it! It's so cute and just a lot of fun to play!
Fantastic game. Cheaper than It should be imo. Combat is genuinely fun. Not only are the combos fun to try to perfect but there is some real tactical and strategic depth as well. Also I have to mention the quirky sense of humor because it is really fantastic. It sort of feels like a cross between Undertale and Earthbound in its tone.
