Fun little game, looks nice, plays nice, but NOT a rogue-anything. Progression is linear campaign based with little character interactions between missions. If you fail a mission you just have to replay the same mission again, and all progress is carried over. This is not a run based game, rather just an oldschool 90's style game. So replayability is probably rather limited once you complete the campaign, an actual rogue-lite mode would have been a nice addition. Like a lot of games like this, I feel like loadouts lack enough slots and choices.
cute game but flawed. its a nice spyhunter wannabee. sadly the enjoyment will not come until you unlock abilities and i don't get this as the beginning game is outright bad so bad they made it so you can negate all damage. i need to ask, why? most people check out within 30min so why lock the best stuff behind hours of gameplay and even then the game is just ok? then there's thing like having only 2 weapons that can fire behind you (you do get an ability for this) and there is only 1 weapon to take out choppers (and it will only target them when everything else is dead). i feel they give you tools but not enough for whats needed. i'll put this down as a neutral as i don't see anyone liking this unless they are committed to unlocking stuff. unless your fine dealing with a bad game until you can unlock an ok one. i'ed skip this though.

Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Aug 1 → 0/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

This is a solid arcade shoot em up with cars. Takes me back to the older gen of shoot em ups with good upgrades and decent boss fights. Story didn't feel necessary but I guess you could say it "drives" the narrative. heheh.
My only complaint about the game is that the cost is a bit high for the content provided. Apart from that this game is excellent. The movement, enemies and weapons all feel exceptionally well tuned and all the visuals feel polished. The games main loop is also just fun.
It's just too much grinding for such little money. Having to do the same run 5-10 times and dying to a boss until you get the proper upgrades is too much. The game was kind of fun.
Remember Spyhunter back in 1983? This is a nice topdown side-scroller racing game that mixes oldschool arcade shmup and roguelite elements with a customizable upgrade system for your vehicle (e.g. weapons, armor etc.) and several skills. Smooth learning curve and adjustable difficulty. I like the GFX style very much. Works perfect with my Xbox360 controller. Got this on sale for -75% so no complains about overall play time or replayability.
Overall pretty good for a combat racing shoot 'em up, and I'd recommend the game at a discounted price for nailing the gameplay mechanics, BUT its biggest drawback is the unbearable grinding on what's considered by developer an optimal for the new players difficulty setting. I don't know if it's caused by limited amount of content, but starting from the second level (each consists of 3 stages) you get about 6 to 10 'game over' screens - you keep your earnings, but the game brings you back to stage 1 - before the enemies drop enough upgrade schematics and cash for your car to withstand the beating and complete the level. For a normal difficulty setting you'd normally expect 2, maybe 3 re-tries every now and then, not 10 and for every level! It gets monotonous really quick and that's the reason for a lot of successful games to have a difficulty curve that goes up and down with occasional spikes throughout the playtime. Difficulty settings aren't hard to figure out: easy - for people who've never touched games or played that type of a game before; normal - for the average players who know how the games are controlled and want to enjoy it; hard - a challenge for the seasoned players that demands precision to complete the stage on a first try; that's where the current amount of grind should reside; max - an ultimate challenge for those who've enjoyed the game a lot and want to grind through every stage over and over until they memorize every bullet, every beat. Want the game to be less grindy? Swallow your pride and choose the easy difficulty, but your gamer peen license will get automatically revoked, and the enjoyment is not guaranteed (because the games that are too easy aren't fun either)
