At first glance, I fell from Grace appears to be a point and click game, but it can be played with either a keyboard or controller. The mouse pointer is hidden during gameplay. The story is relatively simple and short, but the choices you make can lead you to different paths and outcomes. If you want to experience this game to the fullest, you will have to play it much longer than you might inicially expect. Dialogues are written in rhyme, but you can disable rhyming in the options menu if you want. Translating this game into other languages while maintaining the rhymes would be for translators a nightmare worse than Grace's nightmares. [rhyme]By the way, prepare your ears to hear her screams, since this game doesn't let you skip cutscenes.[/rhyme] À primeira vista, I fell from Grace parece ser um jogo de apontar e clicar, mas pode ser jogado com teclado ou controle. O ponteiro do mouse fica oculto durante o jogo.
The story was kinda boringly told imo. No connection felt with the characters and that it’s crucial on a pixel art game otherwise, what the point? No motivation to read text means no point in playing it. Liked the visuals and hated the sound fx and music. Not recommended.
Firstly for your information: I usually play Point'n'Click Adventures and sometimes plattformer/sidescroller (only with a controller) and other games :) I really enjoyed this game. The pixel graphics are beautiful and the story is interesting (I turned off the rhyming though, not into that. But thanks for the option to turn it off, dev :)) Your choices actually matter here and influence your game throughout. One important information for Adventure Lovers: If you're looking for a Point'n'Click Adventure, you won't find it here. But the controls are very easy once you get used to it (I recommend playing with a controller though) and on my Buffalo Snes Gamepad I ocasionally felt like I'm playing a game from the 90s :) So if you are open to a sidescroller adventure without mouse controls, but with an awesome soundtrack, beautiful pixel graphics & an interesting story with multiple endings based on your choices, feel free to buy this game. I didn't regret it and plan on playing it again to check out the other endings!
I love this game, it is what I was looking for after awhile searching steam for a new game to play. Every single NPC in this game serves a purpose and there are so many different little endings, it is very enoyable I highly recommended if you enjoy point and click and story rich game, this one is a winner!
i find the old school controls irritating after playing with a mouse for so long. Story line doesn't exactly captivate, didn't like the rhyming. Just not for me.
8/10
Cuck game. Waste of time and money
Protagonist is a selfish d0uchebag that does not deserve his wife so the real enjoyment of the game is making him make all the wrong choices and see him digging himself into a deeper and deeper hole. Too bad you need to look up a guide if you want to see him suffer in every possible bad ending. I wanted to know more about the backstory of the town and why there was so much crime and poverty. The gamemode where everyone talks in poems is cute at first but gets jarring very quickly. Fortunately you can turn it off at any time.
曾经我努力地背单词学语法,也为了能看懂游戏文本时不时查词,但最终发现,语言只是一道没必要出现的鸿沟罢了,机翻+人工修正即可,但很多游戏却做不到,因此差评。
