MADE : Interactive Movie – 01. Run away!

Wow! I enjoyed the movie, I mean, game. Choices don't really affect the game but I liked it. Entertaining. Thanks! I would of appreciated if a little more effort was put into the game part, and UI. But that's ok.

This FMV is not the best, yet not the worst. The story is about a young female influencer who keeps taking 'selfies' whenever she goes and posts them on social media. The protagonist's reactions are unrealistic. She doesn't look distressed at all, not even her friend, who suspected she had been missing but didn't intervene or call the police. The plot felt rushed, and you barely got engaged or felt sorry for anyone. The soundtrack didn't give any depth or even noticeable. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3286161822 You get to solve a puzzle in each room you walk in, mostly finding floating letters on the wall and decoding a lock; those are simple and feel repetitive. There is also no time limit except for the last puzzle. Again, the choices have no real consequences except for the last bit of the game. There is a manual save, only three slots, showing how far you are in the story in percentage. B급도 못되는 폐급 게임 게임 실행하고 메인 타이틀에 BGM도 안나오고 해상도가 깨져서 늘어지는 폰트와 2004년도 감성의 깜빡거리면서 바뀌는 배경화면 나올때 똥망겜이라는걸 눈치 챘어야 했다 게임속 360 VR 시점 이미지는 와이파이 신호 안잡히는 유튜브 동영상 보는 줄 알았다 144P 화질로 두리번 하는데 눈만 아프다 스토리는 홍보 동영상이 끝임, 인트로가 스포일러 중간 과정은 제발 궁금해하지마라 2021년에 이런게 나오다니 충격적을 받을 정도니까... 심지어 가격도 비싸다 만오천원??? 무료로 나왔으면 중간에 게임 끄기 더 쉬웠을듯ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ 근데 이거 설마.... 시리즈 물 아니지?! 제목이 자꾸 불안하게 만드네...

This is a review for people that speak English that don't speak Korean wondering if they should try this out. Short Answer (There's a long answer at the end) Yes (that's what the big blue thumbs up is for, right?) It does take a little bit of effort to play it in English though. First off, the main menu is in Korean. You can change it to English 옵션 - Options 텍스트언어 - Text Language 영어 - English Yes, it's changing it so it has subtitles as well and the puzzles will be in English. They didn't dub this and I'm glad because dubbed live anything is absolutely cringe worthy. None of the credits will be in English, but almost everything else will. Scenes that have a lot of visual text will scroll by fast, so be prepared to read quickly if you want to know every little detail (It's mainly the beginning). There's an entire scene that's not translated but it's very clear what is happening even if you don't understand. With that being said, let me iterate the aspect of calling this a "game". You have choices, sure, but it's extremely obvious what choices you should make. You have puzzles as well, but the puzzles are very simplistic and don't really fit into the story as the game progresses. PROS The story is entertaining in a short film kind of way (If you're into drama/suspense) This game has A list Actors in it (aka these people are actually famous... In Korea. I'm saying this because tone is a very big thing in FMVs, and this doesn't disappoint you like watching the cheesy scenes from games like Night Trap) I actually didn't hate Seo Ji Seok's acting (Seong Hoon - The male lead. This is from a previous experience; I saw him in Manny and it is one of the biggest train wrecks I've watched) Effort was actually put forth to bring this content to the English language CONS The story is very linear for an interactive story, with very little control over what happens most of the time. It gives away a crucial part of the story before your character (Lee Yul Eum - Juri) would know about it. There's no option to ff or skip scenes you've previously seen (I'm sure saving would've helped but I didn't think to do that on my first playthrough). There's a slider puzzle... I hate them so much that it made it on the cons list. Long Answer Although I'm saying I think people should try it, this (as an English product) is definitely more for people who are into 한류 (Korean Wave). The content here isn't exactly on par with big name games in this genre for English, and is really more for watching a movie over playing a game. If you're a fan of FMVs and you stumbled into this because of that alone, I would say this isn't for you unless you're also interested in some other aspect that comes along with playing a Korean FMV Game. 더 주세요! 2장 못기다려요!

It was great seeing another live action choose your path story game, i did enjoy it but i have to say that honestly that (spoiler alert) [spoiler] choices don't really matter actually as the game will still put you back the same place even if you lets say don't save someone etc [/spoiler] . Hopefully if there is another one coming out , the interface and choices would be better next time.

[h1] Genre[/h1] Ein Koreanisches FMV Adventure [h1] Story [/h1] Wir spielen eine junge Influencerin namens Juri und haben gefallen daran alles mögliche im Internet zu posten. Juri gefällt es so viel Aufmerksamkeit zu bekommen. Selbst ihre Beste Freundin wird dadurch leicht vernachlässigt. Eines Tages werden wir plötzlich auf dem nach Hause weg von einen unbekannten Mann entführt & betäubt und wachen in einem Alten Raum wieder auf. Nun gilt es zu entkommen [h1] Gameplay [/h1] Wir schauen überwiegend den Film an und treffen unter Zeitdruck, was aber nicht weiter wild ist, verschiedene Entscheidungen. Zwischen den FMV Einlagen gibt es dann immer wieder eine First Person Ansicht wo wir uns dann im Raum umschauen können um Gegenstände zu finden und ein paar Rätsel zu lösen. Dies ist natürlich alles simpel gehalten und man muss nie groß überlegen was zu tun ist. Die Schauspielerische Leistung ist sehr gut gelungen. Das Spiel ist natürlich nur auf Koreanisch vertont und man hat Englische Untertitel, diese sind aber sehr gut gelungen. Musik ist ebenfalls sehr gut [h1] Pro/Contra [/h1] + Gute Story + Gutes Schauspielerische Leistung + Gute Charaktere + Gute Musik + Spannend - Leider keine Achievements [h1] Fazit [/h1] Ein wirklich tolles, spannendes FMV Adventure mit guter Schauspielerischer Leistung, guten Charakteren & guter Musik. Ich kann es jedem Fan des Genres sehr Empfehlen. Well, I completed this game. What can I tell about it? It's cringe. Before the final, you might think, "Nah, the quests are weak (all 4 quests tho) but the ending might compensate." -Nope, the ending is much worse rubbish. ahahahaha So, if you like to rofl of cringy games - get it. xD

Choice doesn't matter until very end
