Reviews

Overall, I'd say this game is about an 6/10. It's absolutely beautiful, the concepts are creative, the NPCs are interesting and provide fascinating lore/dialogue, and there is a wide array of equipment you can discover and use at your own disposal. Good luck using them, though, because this game is hard as ♥♥♥♥. The enemies have wildly unpredictable behavior; on top of this many of them deal 2 masks of damage and have an enormous amount of health. The boss fights are also extremely lengthy. I catch myself running out of shards to make tools way too often, especially during bosses and arenas (summons and arena enemies don't drop shards). Some of the runbacks are down-right punishing, too. I find it hard to want to play this game. I can only play it like once a month because it starts to annoy me. For comparison, Silksong is harder than the Elden Ring DLC on max NG+.
