I know this is a positive review, but I did not enjoy the game; it is simply not what I expected. It is listed as a metroidvania, but it should be listed as a puzzle platformer. There's no combat and it uses a one tap death mechanic with no consequences, just spawning you immediately in front of the pit again and again which further tarnishes the stakes. I found that the puzzle mechanics were clunky and change far too often to be properly explored. I dislike being purely Negative but I simply can't enjoy this game because its not for me, but there are people who can enjoy it. TLDR; No combat, Mildly clunky mechanics that cycle to often for me to enjoy them, and a one tap death that just resets your position to the nearest safe space and really kills the stakes. P.S.
I am surprised that the game is fun without “weapons”. Sometimes very hard, but quite satisfying in the end.
It looks great on trailer and it seems like it has got a unique mechanic with great story and visuals, but playing this just revealed how finicky it is Enemies kind of teleport to you and seem to get stuck on some positions and I just found it to be a lot more unpolished then I thought It's hard to show so I'll try to explain, some parts require you to position enemies in certain places to get through, so you spam the ability and move inches just to maybe get the right opening It's just not that fun and it did kind of make it more about being annoyingly precise rather than being a puzzle that you have to figure out
Really nice mechanics and level design.
Very nice game. Hard but a decent difficulty level. Not hard enough to make you give up. I always struggle with these kind og games. I feel proud I could beat it :))))
