Very addicting it is.
Loving the vibe & look but I'm still struggling to get past the 1st trial. Oh and the PVP is very disappointing...
Finally gave it a go after I purchased it on launch. Was able to beat the first stage on my second attempt. It's pretty balanced and despite the dev saying that the visuals are lacking, I actually like them. Overall I am not too much a fan of the talent tree, but the general experience is very nice. I'd recommend this for anybody who looks out for a few chill moments :) (I have not yet tried the next difficulty level, I have unlocked, maybe that changes the game a lot?)
Lots of fun! Can't wait to see what is next with the game. You should grab a copy for you and your friends.
So Black Hole was not an accident, Aarimous knows how to cook great games!
Hexagod is a very fun roguelike resource-collection village-builder. It's clearly inspired by board games like Settlers, except it's actually fun and doesn't make you hate your friends. Once you understand the mechanics in the game, the strategy in the game is enjoyable and satisfying. Looking forward to a full release hopefully!
you could buy this game, play it to completion, then refund it. Its enjoyable but there's that little content
This game is satisfying and addictive! The dev does an amazing job explaining his work on stream. I can't wait to see what additional content turns this game into!
Finished Trial 4 on Build 6. This is a fun engine building solo board game, in video game form. I totally dig it. You're using tile and villager placement to min/max Favor production. This game is still in Early Access at the time of me writing this, but it's already paid for itself. I want to see an expansion of the ideas. Give us more tiers to resource refinement, give us some objectives! I'm positive on my outlook here. Excited to see the next update.
I have 2 main complaints about the game: 1 Its too easy. I know the first couple levels are listed as tutorial but when I'm constantly overshooting the goals by 2-4 times the amount it's hard to be motivated to keep playing the same thing 2 There's almost a dozen resources, several of which are gained through "refining" a different resource, and they.... all do nothing. They count towards the end goal and some rng only works with certain ones but the resource you go after isn't functionally any different from the rest of them. If the "refined" resource has a higher value the game doesn't ever say it so it in my opinion leaves an empty feeling when playing. Aesthetically I do enjoy this game and there's always props for something not being a buggy mess, but I definitely feel like there should be more to do.
