It's basically playing Left 4 Dead on hard except every level is a small corridor and every enemy is the witch and any movement whatsoever sets her off and also every level is pitch black and you're not allowed to edit the brightness/gamma settings from the lowest possible level. --- So I get that the game is supposed to be dark and they've intentionally excluded any actual video settings for this, but like... do the devs know how computer monitors work? You get that my monitor might not be like your monitor right? And that my eyeballs might not be your eyeballs? Because the game is legitimately almost completely pitch black and I cannot see *anything*, and I'm not sure if I can be assed enough to create a separate profile for this game in my monitor to debug this until I can actually just see anything in the game. --- Like if I went and made my own version of Left 4 Dead where my gimmick is that you ride a lawnmower and I programmed dynamic sound technology where it continuously plays an 85 dB loop of a lawnmower and it didn't let you turn the game volume down because it's part of the intended experience to get hearing damage whether it's playing on TV speakers, earbuds, or in a headset, you get how this is the exact same thing right? I'll probably try playing this game again if I like download a mod or see if there's an easy fix to adjust on my monitor because the game is legitimately near unplayable out-of-the-box.
This could be described as my favourite cooperative game at the moment, and eventually finishing it may be my proudest accomplishment in gaming.
比痒的游戏,箱子里全是荧光棒,给制作组老冯每个洞插满
Obosralsya. Классный шутан. Сложный
It is a good pain.
地图是复制粘贴的,指引是一坨的,路是找不到的,终端是你学会了也有找不到东西/区域这种情况发生的。关卡是越来越难的,这游戏不会给你正面反馈,你只会感到无力和满满的来自制作组的恶意。
GTFO isn't just a standard horde friendslop game but actually requires brain power and communication to play. It's damn near impossible to do missions alone so you MUST have friends to play with. Game feels clunky and has small graphic bugs (random growing black mass that covers your screen for 2 ish minutes) but is fun otherwise. *only buy on sale*
Some levels are deliberately dragged out(you search for single object without any hints even about its appearance and it's not even highlighted or search for 12 things all over a huge map. both cases took me hours even in squad). The game is hard only because developers made too much enemies which are pretty stupid though they see you anywhere(Ammunition is very limited) and gets pretty boring very fast. Only positive side is a wide selection of weapons. Conclusion: in my opinion GTFO is really bad. Is it hard? Yes. But developers made it hard by making it unplayable. it's difficulty and non-rewarding gameplay will make you want to quit and delete instead of trying further. Even tutorial is ridiculously useless and overly complicated(again, deliberately) for most newcomers. Highly don't recommend buying it. It's not worth it at all.
Is a masterpiece in the first 50 hours. But then you start feeling the weakness of your flesh and the limits of the human body. And after another 50 hours you finally understand: the devs accidentally forgot to playtest the level. 10/10 would fail at their next game again
