Kino.
Extremely adorable but also extremely short little game! Very lovely artstyle. Wish there was a way to highlight interactables like some other point n click adventure games as objects sometimes blend into the background! otherwise very sweet. Dont recommend fully price tho
An adorable point & click that's short but wonderful to experience. However I came across a major bug that soft-locked me out of progression, even going back to a save from 20mins before it still applied & I wasn't up for re-doing an hours worth of puzzles to get back sadly. The bug is something to do with how the flame item was interacting with things when i'd tried to use it at some point & made it impossible to use on an essential item later. Apart from the bug though, the puzzles I really enjoyed as they were easy enough to figure out with context clues & there are text hints to let you know where to go or what to do for everything, so you don't have to look up a guide. Although I have played a lot of these types of games so I might just be used to these systems.
Beautiful art, great music and sound design, great writing, great puzzles. Overall an excellent experience.
Growbot is an amazingly adorable puzzle adventure with a surprisingly dark story. The puzzles are difficult enough to be entertaining but not too difficult to be irritating. The art style is very unique and packed with detail it's hard not to stare at a scene for too long.
very cute, the music and artstyle is reminescent of watergirl and fireboy!
It's a simple narrative and the art is cute, but it's a bit glitchy and the sound puzzles can be annoying because there are two sets of flowers that "sound" almost identical to one another, so you MIGHT have to resort to the hint system to figure out why you have the "right" sound but it won't let you solve the puzzle. As far as I could tell, there was no way to "lose" so saving doesn't seem to be necessary, but do it anyway in case you have to restore after one of the glitches leaves you unable to interact with anything on the screen or with a help interface unhelpfully stuck in the way. And don't pay full price for this adorable but buggy little puzzle adventure.
