In the late 13th century, the Mongol empire has laid waste to entire nations along their campaign to conquer the East. Tsushima Island is all that stands between mainland Japan and a massive Mongol invasion fleet led by the ruthless and cunning general, Khotun Khan.
As the island burns in the wake of the first wave of the Mongol assault, courageous samurai warrior Jin Sakai stands resolute. As one of the last surviving members of his clan, Jin is resolved to do whatever it takes, at any cost, to protect his people and reclaim his home. He must set aside the traditions that have shaped him as a warrior to forge a new path, the path of the Ghost, and wage an unconventional war for the freedom of Tsushima.

If i had to give this a God of War out of 10... it is like a 4. I have heard people jerk this game to completion and honestly it is just "good". No hate on a good game obv, but like it is not great. It is the tried and true Ubisoft formula on top of telltale bs of "I did not DO THAT." (Good ol', whoa that made 3 people die when I thought no one would.... type decision.) Oh wow you amorally killed one guy... the enemy has killed THOUSANDS that way. It is just lame and personal head canon carries my playthrough. I feel like the FIRST ninja ever, but the game wants to tell me I am the first Biggest Loser, and nah, sorry, that ain't me. I have saved hundreds of useful lives while killing thousands of invaders and to telling me I am the bad guy is honestly insulting. If the game had actually, branching paths, I might recommend it to everyone, but from what I have seen.... It does not. It does the annoying "whoa! you did this!" when you could have easily NOT have done that. It is shallow, and caring about the overarching narrative while going in CARING ABOUT SAID NARRITIVE... you WILL be disappointed. Counted thought, I read a possibly fake annecdote of the first Make a Wish Kid getting access to Ghost of Yotei, and like, if it was comparable to this, I woulda done myself in. If I died playing this game last, ♥♥♥♥ me, would I be pissed. Rather chance my sucking prowess to a shotgun going off.
This is a great game !
Sony and SEI are shady, underhanded and devious in their after-sale EULA changes, hamstringing User rights. They change terms of service after purchase and then force you to agree to arbitration in legal jurisdictions outside of your area and/or country of origin. They force this otherwise you are now suddenly "not allowed" to play the game you bought. The game itself is fantastic and I have completed it several times, both on PC and on PS5. But given how they have killed physical discs on PS5, how they have removed copies of movies and shows from people's accounts after purchase due to their refusal to sign agreements with Studio Canal, and app of that *after* unilaterally changing these terms of service/EULA's on PS5 ... then they want to try and bring this b.s. to PC?!?!? Hell no. I do not consent to this. I cannot and will not recommend this or any other Sony PC game ever again. This is a load of crap and Sony need to be raked over the coals for this level of deceitful and underhanded tactics. They deserve and and all hate that they get. And users need to be aware of this level of underhandedness before purchase!
When they're not trying to tear down Lu Kim's City Wall, the Mongoliams are attacking Junichi Takiyama's City Sushi. Apparently they didn't care for his City California Roll. As a result you need to visit shrines, clear outposts, collect various stuff to upgrade your equipment, go to onsens, and get revenge for being ambushed at the Asian Diversity presentation. Game is good, though combat is somewhat simplistic. While you're told there's light and heavy strikes, gameplay rewards simply spamming the heavy attack to take out enemies a little too much. It's only when you face bosses that getting your parries right actually matters. Normal difficulty seems a little too forgiving in that respect. That said, it's still enjoying to play. The story while hardly groundbreaing is interesting enough to drive to the next mission, and I enjoy simply exploring, whether it's to find that next fox den or simply colouring in the map. At this point I haven't gotten around to finishing the first chapter yet. I've been messing around a lot with side missions and random wandering around. The visuals and general look of the game is really nice, and I've spent more time in photo mode here than in any other game. It's a pity Sony abandoned the PC port of the sequel.
THE MOST AUTHENTIC SAMAURI EXPERIENCE!!!!!!!
画质的内涵是什么,是建模的精细程度,还是美术风格?我想这款游戏给出了答案。
Great open world, immersive story, rewarding and fun combat
The main campaign is a must-play. It’s one of the best games I’ve ever played and a true hero’s journey. You should definitely experience it. The Isle of Iki campaign, on the other hand, is a full-blown deconstruction of the protagonist (and the legend). Not to mention that one mechanic tied to the main plot constantly nags at you, pushing you to finish the main quest because you just want it to stop.
so far ive had a very good time the combat is very fun and the visuals are top tier is a little rependative tho but i dont mind that at all
What are you waiting for? Go get it! If you're looking for a story-driven, beautiful Samurai game, that's the one. At first, the graphics look "not bad", but give it a minute: you'll find yourself in a varied landscape with stunning views. They've gone all out on the light effects, which makes for some of the most breathtaking sunsets in gaming history. At first, the map looks small, but don't be fooled: new areas will unlock when the story progresses, and you'll likely be finished with the game without having unveiled all the grey areas on the map. The story is good and draws you in immediately, but you have zero influence over it's outcome with your answers or actions - no matter what you do, you do not get to decide your fate, for better or for worse. If you can't see copious amounts of blood spouting from decapitated foes, this game is not for you. On the other hand, the violence of the fights is beautifully counterbalanced with moments of quiet reflection, poetry, nature and helpful cute animals who show you the way to collectibles, quests and landmarks. The fighting is smooth and the horseback riding is wonderfully responsive. You could argue that liberating what feels like the 100th village is very repetitive, but you don't have to complete them all to play through the story (only if you're going for the 100% achievements). Somewhat sad is that more often than not it turns into Assassin's Creed, and we already have that. But even with your sneaking around so much, you still get plenty of Samurai moments and hero feeling (especially once you've unlocked various stances and combos). As someone who turns off game music more often than not I have to say: this soundtrack is beautiful, calm, contemplative and fitting, it enhances the surroundings and sets the mood perfectly. I can't believe I waited so long to get it - clear recommend!
