Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Aug 28: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.89/day in the week to Aug 4 → 1.57/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I think I'm still in the tutorial 3 chapters in, or it feels like it. It seems like the player doesn't actually get any choice in any story point, not even cosmetically. The movement Controls and camera are supremely finicky. The most recent annoyance and example of this is Cuff repeatedly saying to get up, but there's no player interaction, no option to skip ahead and actually choose to do that. I understand not being ably to program every possible interaction, but it feels like the game is entirely on rails, like a movie that you have to play a little combat in to play the next bit. It's supposed to be open world, but so far if I try to wander too far off from where the game wants me to be, I get teleported back to the plot. There are elements of a good game here, but I'm not seeing it come together yet.
This is one of those games where other people made me avoid it, and honestly I really regret that. Yeah, the story isn’t great and some parts are dumb, but the gameplay is amazing. The parkour is fast not very smooth, but still fun and satisfying. I spent most of my time exploring and rarely used fast travel. The world is beautiful. The combat isn’t great I’d say about 70% of the skills and abilities you unlock are bad, but the other 30% are really fun and satisfying to use. The DLC is good, and I recommend it. I’d rate it 8/10.
Fantastic game I was hooked from the beginning
Thank you Square, for giving people of color around the world a hero in gaming to look up to. I am 47 years old, and grew up in a time where all games only had white or asian heroes. I gladly fully paid the full price for this game on day 1, and ignored all the racists who did everything to make the game fail. I'm just sorry your studio had to pay the price for ignorance of others. Again, thank you for this AAA open world game! EDIT: This game is far from perfect though. It has a few big glaring holes i feel compelled to disclose. The biggest annoyance is the lack of having the world map 🌏 in the lower right of the screen, as you get around. Why must I have to pause and look at a confusing layout of the word? I say confusing because believe it or not, it's really overcrowded with too much ♥♥♥♥ on it. And you can get very easily turned around and head in the wrong direction after fighting for your life.... flipping and running like crazy. You don't have time to worry about your map position when you're just trying to stay alive. In the pause screen, they made the design choice to bend the corner of the menu.. so you can't see the entire image of the page you're looking at. Sorry but it looks tacky and it's a bit annoying. Why would you do that? It's great that there's so much lore in the world of Athia. But why in the world would you not voice all of the reading you've got to do, in order to learn it all? I also think that the layout of the controller buttons are a bit off. It's not fun using R2 as the default way to execute your attacks most of the time. With all of that being said, I really do like this game. It's pretty addictive if you play all the way up to killing the first tanta. Now I can't stop thinking about playing more of the game. This really should be a Final Fantasy.
I give up. All the other reviews were right. This game is terrible. + Graphics Good Absolutely everything about this game other than that ranges from mid to bad. The worst though is hearing the same voice clip over and over and over again.
The game is heavy loaded but the story is simple and fun and I love the gameplay. I think the hate of launch make it now a hidden gem
