Prices
The United States storefront in every case, so this compares stores and not countries.
Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

I took a calculated risk buying Floodland, fully aware of the mixed reviews and the recurring warnings about crashes and poor optimization. In hindsight, I should have done a much better job reading between the lines. This is clearly a Frostpunk-inspired city builder, just swapped snow for water, and sadly, polish for good intentions. Yes, the game is poorly optimized. That part is true, but oddly enough, it wasn’t the deal-breaker. I was running it on the lowest settings, staring at graphics that politely asked not to be judged, and I was fine with that. The real problem arrived about eight hours in, after discovering the powerplant, around day 408, when the game simply decided it had done enough. Building something? Crash. Sending an expedition? Nope. Progressing in any meaningful way? Absolutely not. At that point, Floodland stopped being a survival city builder and became an accidental social experiment: how long will a player stare at a broken game before giving up? My current endgame plan is simple: let all my settlers die so I can grab one last achievement :) After my first run ended in a spectacular display of crashes and broken mechanics, I decided to give Floodland a second chance. Surprisingly, this time I did manage to finish the game (by postponing discovering the powerplant after I had discover all the map - so no need for more expeditions). Victory? Not quite. What the second run really revealed was a different problem hiding under the technical mess. The game advertises an intricate social system built around different clans, each with their own demands, values, and conflicts. In theory, this should be the heart of the experience. In practice, I discovered you can almost completely ignore the clans, brush off their requests, and still cruise your way through the main storyline. So much for meaningful social dynamics. Add a couple of classic Unity crashes (just enough to send me back to earlier saves) and the illusion of depth quickly evaporates. It’s a shame, because Floodland clearly wants to be something special: a post-apocalyptic city builder with tough choices and social tension. Instead, it feels like a promising design doc that accidentally shipped as a finished product. Final verdict: 3/10; a promising concept slowly sinking under technical failures.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Aug 25: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Devs after a month of saying "The game is not abandoned" left and abandoned the game without finishing it, or giving any explanation. Cash and dash
Broken. Stuck on most popular bug on forum. Nothing more to do, I don't want to start again. Unplayable and totally not worth even 4 Euro.
The game has an interesting premise, decent gameplay, and fantastic art style and music. However, aside from the occasional crashes when saving or exiting, what really puts me off is the Clan system. Instead of exploring an apocalyptic world, I have to worry about people's feeling. I get that you can't make everyone happy, but one wrong choice or law can lead to unrest that feels impossible to recover from. I've tried, but I just don't find this game enjoyable. It might become more fun as I progress, but I just don't want to invest more time into it.
Gameplay is fine, but it's also abandonware. It's very poorly optimized, and it randomly crashes. It also can potentially softlock your game if you don't unlock Scholars' Debate early on. It has potential, but because it's clear no attention is given to this game anymore, it's just a chore to play & I have to save every 15 minutes in fear of a crash (Because the autosave feature also apparently can crash your game), and I'm only playing it so I can finish the story.
Can't complete the game, it keeps crashing even when I exit it crashes. It is unplayable until this issue is resolved. Other than that problem the game is enjoyable.
The game is really nice and great but the problem is that its abandonware and the devs refuse to even update it anymore, still has a lit of technical issues, bugs and performs pretty poorely on higher systems, can't recommend unless the devs will one day [doubt it] accidentally remember it and start working on it again.
Das Spiel wird leider nicht mehr weiterentwickelt. Keine Empfehlung! Außerdem Stürzt es gelegentlich ab!
Didn't run into any bug. I finished the game and I really enjoyed it.
good fun game. difficult balancing act between resources and the clans approval. The map and terrain look great.
