Here's how you play FFVIII and have more challenge and more fun without any crazy mods. You know how you can use Draw and then Stock? No. Don't do that. You are allowed to for GFs, but not for spells. If you want spells you need to use draw points and refineries. But in-battle Draw>Stock? Don't do it. This makes the game good. Drawing 100 spells in battle is boring, it's dumb, and it makes the game easy. It's a cancer. And worse, it's a cancer you inflict on yourself. You feel compelled to spend 7,000 hours repeatedly drawing spells you don't need for a system you barely need all for the purpose of getting stats that nullify any of the challenege of the game. Save yourself. See the light. DO NOT DRAW>STOCK!!!
Ich bin kein Fan vom Squall Redesing aber das spiel bleibt natürlich das gleiche mit Quality of live Einstellungen. Ich liebe das spiel natürlich weiter hin :) und kann es allen empfehlen.
has been near and dear to my hearts since i was 13. one of the most innovative final fantasies i've ever enjoyed! will always recommend others to try.
Me gusta el juego pero la remasterización no vale la pena
This has one of the best tragically awesome romance stories of all the Final Fantasy's! I love this game so much. FFVII is my favourite but this is very very close behind! I love how you have to time the gunblade to deal extra damage, i love the GF system, i love the Junctioning system (could be a little tweaked but for its time it was ahead of its time!) I love the story, i love the cinematics, i love everything about this game! Please remake this with cutting edge graphics like you did with FFVII, Square Enix!
this is my favorite trading card game
Greetings! Final Fantasy is one of my favorite series of video games and I originally played 8 when was I teen. Now, I’ve played it again to see if it holds up. I never was the biggest fan of this one; the story felt a bit too bland and took too long to get anywhere. Do I feel the same way? Let’s discuss! Booya: This is an old school JRPG, you line up on one side the enemy on another and you wait for little bars to fill up and take your action. The old ways are best (as something Square Enix seems to be seeing). This is a classic, though not the best or more interesting stories told in the series it does feel a lot more grounded then some of the others. As a teen the main character seemed cool and the story went from private military contractors to crazy stuff. The story does still seem to take a left turn real fast in the final act but it makes a lot more sense as an adult. Whatever: Mechanically this may be one of the most complex of the Final Fantasy series, and has an ocean of depth too in both the combat system and the card game you can play with NPCs. The game boasts probably one of the most unique leveling and ability system in the game and thrives under the manipulation of items (refining) and the playing of the card game, Triple Triad. But, on the other hand the game is perfectly suitable to just play ‘good enough’ and still make your way through the game. The Road not Travelled: FF8 tried several new things for its time; the big one being scaled enemies. Normally, when you level up the enemies don’t, this gives you the ability to ‘out-level’ enemies and making them easier. In this one; if you are level 35 almost every enemy (including most bosses) are level 35. This was the first time it was tried in a Final Fantasy and (as far as I know) the last and for good reason. The game seems to punish you for leveling as the enemy power level can eclipse yours if you don’t stay on top of your junctions. Overall, this game is still a good Final Fantasy, far from my favorite (7 still holds that position) but it is definitely worth playing if you’ve never played it before. The PC Remaster smoothes over some of the edges even if not all is improved. I’d recommend it, Enjoy!
Nostalgia de um jogo excelente com gráficos modernos e limpos, amei
I thought this was a good game. I liked the story a lot. The junctioning function took a little getting used to, but after I got the hang of it, I liked it!
