FF6 is careful. The story pulls the rug out from under you in staisfying ways, and the gameplay is some of the best. I only wish kefka's tower didnt do that to me but whatever
I doubt I can say anything about VI that isn't already said to death. VI is wonderfully both theatrical; dramatic, and comedic. A very special tone that Final Fantasy seems to excel at. The way it's able to choreograph scenes with its limited 2D movement is engrossing. The characters are all charming, with great antagonists. Definitely try to talk to every NPC you can. Gameplay is a beast too. There isn't a job system like V, instead there's a fairly large cast of playable characters each with their own job that reflects their character and attacks and moves for combat. Easy to learn each one, and figure out how to best use them. But there's still a lot there to master. The game makes excellent use of its large cast for the most part, and where it "doesn't" it "doesn't" matter imo. Active Time Battle is really fun here. Pixel Remaster is really good, though I've only played this version. Some people may loathe the GBA assets making their way into this, or the new assets not looking "right" but I don't mind, based on all the research I put in before playing. I did play with a few mods, since I played on PC. I did this to make it more like the original in aspects I wanted, give it a more consistent style imo, and give it some enhancements. I'll list them here, and I know >guy recommends mods for first time players. But I'll separate ones that make it more "vanilla" than PR vanilla, and ones I feel go too far, but I do feel all of these are fair for a first time playthrough, and don't make it some lame modder fanfic version of VI. _Vanilla:_ **Uncensored Celes Intro** - The GBA version changed a sprite to be less violent, this changes it to be more like the original **Siren SFC Restoration** - I actually couldn't get this one to work, but it uncensors a sprite that was changed in the english SNES version and subsequent releases **Terra's Flashback Restored** - This one I get if you don't want. GBA and subsequent versions changed sprites so they weren't doing an evil salute anymore. I feel the changed version doesn't get the point across. **PR Pixel Art Button Prompts** - Vanilla button icons in the Pixel Remasters don't look pixelated, and this bothered me a ton until I used this mod for all of them. **ATB Fix** - Removes stutter from the ATB bar filling. **SNES UI** - Self explanatory. **Bushido Kanji Restoration** - Adds Kanji to a character's moves. I just think it's neat. **Movement Stutter removal** - slows down how fast you move to how fast it was on prior versions so there's less stutter when you walk and run. _Less Vanilla_ **Opera to Another Language** - Little Spoiler, but there's ~~minor voice acting in the pixel remaster. I hate dubs, but I don't particularly feel any voice language is immoral to play with. But if you desire to remove a dub, or play with a voice language you'd rather have, then use this mod.~~ **Textbox portraits** - The GBA version gave speaker textboxes portraits. The SNES version didn't have these, so the PR version doesn't, but I think they really look nice and enhance the experience. **Gau Rage Descriptions** - This is almost cheating, in that it's like having a guide or spreadsheet table of moves open to the side that describes what a move, that normally doesn't have what it does in the description, does in the game itself. I feel this allows a character to be more usable and fun to experiment with, instead of using a guide or forum thread outside the game itself to know what to do with him. (I still found a good move for it with a guide, but that means I know what this mod is good for.) If you don't mod the game, you'll still get an amazing experience for sure!
still the best final fantasy of all time
having played I through VI this remains my favourite of the 2D era. with each game there is an improvement in terms of the writing, presentation, character expressions and animation quality - this all culminates with VI where a lot of times you feel like you are watching a stage play with a nice mix of humour and drama.
经典不必多说
PEAK RPG LOST IN DUNGEON
2부에서부터 공략 없으면 거의 불가하다 싶이 아무런 가이드도 없고 확실히 옛날 게임이라 그런지 불친절함 공략 보고 깨야됨..
One of my favorite FF games.
