About
Rise up. Fight back.
Gear up to fight your way through the ranks of an insidious cult. Their wretched minds twisted by the will of an unseen entity, you'll find just as much lead flying back as you dish out, so you'll have to run, slide, dodge, and make use of your environment to survive in this old-school-inspired shooter.
CULTIC: Chapter One includes 10 maps full of blood, grit, and of course, cultists. After completing the story, you can test your skills in the wave-based Survival Mode, also included with Chapter One.
Get a taste of Chapter Two with the Interlude story map, and then finish the fight with the Chapter Two expansion DLC!
CULTIC gives you the freedom to approach combat your way. You can run in guns blazing, running, jumping, sliding, and dodging to keep out of harms way. If you prefer a slower approach, you can lay traps, let your enemies come to you, and pick them off from the safety of cover. Maybe you prefer to weave in between your foes, leading their attacks towards each other, and turning them against one another. With a full arsenal of mid-century firearms and explosives, you'll be well equipped to slaughter everything in your path - provided you don't get slaughtered first.
Combat in CULTIC is fast and deadly. Well-placed shots can take your enemies - and yourself - out of the game quickly. Keep on the move or stick to cover, and use your arsenal wisely to stay alive as you fight your way through cult territory.
CULTIC was styled to feel like a throwback to the shooters of yore, but with the advantages of a modern engine, such as physics, lighting, and a fully 3D game world. The gameplay, audio design, and art are all stylized to create a unique experience.

Mastercraft. Level design is top notch. Weapons feel satisfying. Ammo economy makes it hard to focus on just one weapon. Had a lot of fun with it. I think Chapter 1 is a bit stronger than Chapter 2, but they're excellent as a package.
The absolute best spiritual successor to Blood. Just a beautifully crafted and amazing piece of work.
Cultic gets a lot right, which makes its flaws even harder to ignore. The level design is the biggest issue. Everything blurs into the same caves and mines, and most encounters boil down to sniping enemies before the herd notices you. The game feel, sound design, and core combat are great, but there’s a real lack of creative enemy encounters; the few standout moments only highlight how repetitive the rest of the game is. The bosses don’t help either: there are only two, and both are simple DPS races with throwaway mobs tossed in to distract you. In the end, the whole experience feels less like a successor to Blood and more like a skinwalker interpretation of it. Mimicking the style without ever matching or improving on it.
All good here; until the boss fight with the tank. in order to change the difficulty you have to start a new game. dumb
Jason Smith is the Mozart of Boomer Shooters. Every level feels like an orchestra of horror, diverse and deeply atmospheric with brain-teasing level designs that challenge even the most experienced FPS players. The game understands its core identity, where pacing is intentional to either push the player into action packed battlefields or ease them into truly terrifying experiences. It's incredibly fun and entertaining. Cultic is intelligently designed, consistently impressing with its retro aesthetic, delightfully smooth combat, clever secrets, and cultural references to its inspirations. It's easily one of the best first person shooters I have ever played. Absolutely filled to the brim with content and well, well worth its current price tag of $15 for both chapters. 11/10.
CULTIC has raised the bar for what I expect from shooters. It's a masterclass in game and level design, environmental storytelling and it looks gorgeous while doing it. I love the pacing and the breaks from the action it allows itself to build suspense or just play with the horror setting. I personally adored chapter 2; it has variety and one moment of such grandiose impact and score I was astounded. It's fun and feels amazing to play. I cannot possibly recommend a game more. BLOOD would be proud.
Amazing gameplay, beautiful soundtrack, fantastic level design, and a very atmospheric art style. Definitely one of the best throwback shooters. Second chapter is substantially weaker than the first but it's still pretty fun.
simplemente excelente
Magnificent shooter. This game exceeded all of my expectations. It's made by a single developer which is just monumentally impressive. This game, and its developer, deserves all of the success it can get.
Perfect boomer shooter, exactly what the doctor ordered.
