Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

Job system at its best, super fun gameplaywise, decent story, decent characters. Overall had a blast gaming experience
one of my top three final fantasy games of all time, this game is honestly pretty good as an introductory game to JRPGs as a whole.

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Aug 23: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.78/day in the week to Aug 4 → 1.57/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Really enjoyed the job system in this entry. I didn't care for the large number of missable things for achievements.
Final Fantasy 5 wasn't the first JRPG with a job system, but it was one of the first to do one really well by allowing for mixing and matching of abilities from different classes.
база базовая 5
Plying through all the games in order, final fantasy 5 is the best game so far, continuing the trend of every new game is now the best in the series (5>4>3>2>1). I do think conceptually the story is less interesting than final fantasy 4, nothing morally interesting like the beginning of ff4, but even though it is simpler it is executed a lot better, i have no real complaints (other than lacking party member characterisation aside from galuf) and there was a moment or two i thought stood out (Galufs moment and gilgamesh encounters ), unlike 4 where i did have complaints about the ridiculous number of fakeout deaths. Gameplay is the best yet, I never needed to grind and aside from the fork tower where you are forced to use specific builds beat most bosses in one to three tries with changes in strategy, i never felt under-levelled, and remarkably in a series first i enjoyed the final boss because i beat it first try but it was a hard fought battle that i won with only bartz left standing and risking an attack instead of a phoenix down. Dungeons are also much more distinct with unique gimmicks and interesting aesthetics like the library area, one of my favourite dungeons so far in the series. Job system is vastly improved from ff3 with the ability to transfer over skills because you can actually plan a composition, i had Bartz as a mystic knight/knight, Galuf as a ninja with some levels in various other jobs to swap as necessary, Lenna was a white mage/time mage for hastega and Farris was a bard/summoner because some of the bard songs are busted (romeo ballad). I also appreciated the goofier tone, i can see people not liking it, but this is the first game in the series that actually made me give a little smirk and exhale (ghido sass and some gilgamesh, exdeath wonderfully cheesy). Other little details too like being able to learn the piano just add to the experience. i give it a 7.5/10
Bora pra platina do Final Fantasy 6!
全ジョブマスターしたすっぴんにカイザーナックルを装備させ、アビは格闘みだれうち。オートバトルでもラスボスに勝てる良ゲー。全員これ。
Another fantastic entry in the Pixel Remaster series and another entry I was glad to enjoy for the first time. The worlds just keep getting bigger and more interesting. More lore, more Final Fantasy staples and the first game that felt like it had a lot of story in it without blazing through it so quickly. They took time to develop characters and I can only imagine what it would have been like to play this game when it first released. Really enjoyed this one and bitterly excited to play FFVI and finish the Pixel Remaster series off.
