FAR: Lone Sails

Love the atmosphere and the art style. The lil dude is strong and can pull the big vehicle! The puzzles are fun and the upgrade progression feels rewarding. I didn't peek at the achievements so after I finish the 1st playthrough I'll see what I missed, and if it's worth going back for a replay. I am having fun and looking forward to what is in store for me and the lil dude.

FAR: Lone Sails is a slow-paced, quiet, beautiful, and deeply atmospheric adventure game. It follows a lone traveler moving from one point toward a distant destination, using whatever limited resources they have or collect during the journey. The game is very subtle. It does not depend on heavy action or long explanations. Instead, it creates its impact through calm exploration, environmental storytelling, and a strong sense of loneliness and wonder. Along the way, there are puzzles that act as obstacles, and each one must be solved in order to continue toward the final destination. Players who enjoy fast action may find the game slow, but anyone who likes peaceful exploration, meaningful atmosphere, and simple but thoughtful puzzles will find FAR: Lone Sails a memorable experience. Rating: 4.5/5

Short, lonely, adventurous, and visually striking. FAR feels like an indie darling of the early 2010's, released half a decade later.

Art wise one of the most beautiful games I've played, music wise as well. The whole game is about you travelling with this machine and solving problems that can arise, I really loved it but if that doesn't sound interesting I'd skip this one. But if it sounds interesting I can highly recommend it, it's a fantastic game.
