Right so before I do go into the specifics, I wanted to bring light to some problems I have met with whilst trying to boot up the game / mid-game. As many others have reported, the game does crash quite frequently, due to the games older age, however there is a quick fix. Using Large Address Aware (https://www.techpowerup.com/forums/threads/large-address-aware.112556/), should stop the game from crashing mid-game, and has worked successfully in my case, however if you are facing problems with booting up the game, you'll most likely have to change the amount of cores the game uses by going into Task Manager (Ctrl + Shift + Esc) > Details > Look for the "farcry3.exe" file and right click it. Then press the "Set Affinity" option and allocate Core 0, Core 1, Core 2, Core 3. Remember to uncheck the latter boxes (Core 4, Core 5, etc.). This should most likely fix the booting up problem. Now going into the review of the actual game segment, I must say that you cannot expect much out of a game made in 2012, however, as a person who has has difficulties with focusing and usually skips cut-scenes, the game actually sets a very intriguing storyline. This is probably one of the first games I've actually paid attention to whilst playing and do recommend buying the game. The graphics aren't fantastic but just good enough to continue playing. Before playing the game I recommend putting your FOV on max, and actually focusing on setting the perfect brightness, as I ignored that and then was faced with the brightness adequate to what a nuclear bomb makes. There is alot of action in the game and I found the PvE in the game to be quite satisfactory. Overall, I recommend this game to people who enjoy PvE games, gun games, etc. In my opinion, if you're willing to spend the maybe 30 minutes into fixing the game, it is worth doing in order to play the game, as it has a lot to offer for a game released in 2012.
