i bought this with my fckin money and the game wont even started because it says i dont have the permission to play it because i never buy it, then how the ♥♥♥♥ it in my steam account for ♥♥♥♥ sake. ubisoft sucks
I don't know where to start, because everything about this game was absolutely terrible. At the beginning, we get introduced to the two antagonists of the game. Two teenage girls who are about five feet tall and probably weight 100lbs soaking wet yet lead a dangerous post apocalyptic bandit gang. Why do hundreds of violent psychos follow these two? We're never told. I guess because they're mean and their dad used to be the head of the gang. Why this would matter to literally any other power hungry bandit is never made clear. After the agonizingly long intro, we make our way to the one and only "town" which is really just a crafting hub, and the game begins. You will then meet multiple side characters, all of whom speak like someone trying to be edgy or just plain stupid on twitter would. You get called a 'chudwaffle' at some point in the game. I ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ hate it here. Ten steps into the crafting town I'm greeted with an INGAME BILLBOARD ABOUT THE PERK SYSTEM IN THE VIDEO GAME, and any remaining good will I had immediately shriveled up and died upon seeing it. Nevertheless, I decided to do a "treasure hunt" which consisted of looking around a building for a key, opening a door, and then getting loot. Some of this loot was called "far cry coins" which the game then helpfully informed me via popup that I could spend in ingame store to make the game easier. I want to die. You can beat this game in 9-10 hours and you will hate every second of it if you decide to do so.
This game is so buggy in multiplayer, I've been playing it with my friend and almost every time we tried to fast travel I've gotten stuck in the ground and frankly I'm tired of it, the story is ass, the gameplay is the same as the 5th game. this is a glorified DLC and not worth your money.
New Dawn в плане стилистики очень сильно напоминает смесь Borderlands и RAGE 2 - это не серые и мрачные S.T.A.L.K.E.R., Metro или Fallout.
Highkey the best entry in the franchise. The movement, the gun controll, the vehicle system, the combat, the missions, the world... everything. This is the PERFECT FarCry game, with the best soundtrack... BY FAR
Far Cry New Dawn has some fun moments, especially the gunplay. The shooting feels smooth, weapons are enjoyable to use, and the action can be satisfying for a while. But after some time, the game starts feeling very repetitive. Most missions feel like the same cycle again and again: clear outposts, collect resources, upgrade, repeat. The map also feels strangely empty compared to other Far Cry games. Even though the world is colorful, it does not feel alive or exciting to explore. There are not many memorable activities, characters, or surprises that make you want to keep going. The gun mechanics are probably the best part, but they are not enough to carry the whole game. For me, Far Cry New Dawn feels more like a short expansion stretched into a full game. It is not terrible, but it gets boring quickly because of the repetitive gameplay and empty map.
This is a very slight recommendation. If Steam had a "Meh" button, this game would make the perfect case for it. Far Cry New Dawn suffers from abysmal writing, temu tier wannabe badass antagonist twins, and a story that barely holds together, even if you keep both eyes closed. Honestly, there isn't much depth beyond that. That said, the core gameplay loop is still fun, the combat works well, and the visuals aren't bad. However, I definitely prefer the mainline entries, and out of all the spin-offs, this one is the weakest. It feels like a glorified expansion or a beefy DLC for Far Cry 5 rather than a true, full-fledged standalone game. Not even mentioning the potential a "post-apocalyptic episode" Far Cry had. It's not entirely bad if you grab it deeply discounted on sale to kill a couple of hours, but the potential here is largely unfulfilled. If you're desperately missing that classic Far Cry loop, this will scratch the itch, just don't expect too much from it.
I loved this game, but to be clear the progression system is irriating so I used mods to get the best weapon early and delivered pure chaos and mayhem to the world. Loved it, the game is good if you play as per your taste, if you play it how Ubisheet intended it to be played, you won't enjoy it much after the first few hours.
Don't buy this game, even on sale. I have so much to say about it. 1. Bugs everywhere: This game is absolutely riddled with bugs, especially in co-op. I got stuck in place after fast traveling about 80-90% of the time, which was incredibly frustrating. I kept getting black screens after capturing outposts, experienced several crashes, and sometimes missions just wouldn't appear at all. 2. Terrible optimization: It's very poorly optimized. I was getting lower FPS here than in Far Cry 5. 3. Awful story: The plot is garbage. No one cares about these two antagonists—why do they start talking and crying at the end? Nobody gives a single care. They just copy-paste missions from previous games, and they aren't interesting at all. Plus, they gave us superpowers... what is this surreal nonsense? It's not fun at all, especially with all the bugs around, and the worst part is that the friend you're playing with doesn't even get those powers. 4. Horrible RPG system: The new leveling system is incredibly bad. I don't know who came up with this idea, but it ruined the game. You literally have to grind just to be able to kill regular enemies and animals. 5. Ubisoft Connect is a joke: It keeps crashing and disconnecting, to the point where I couldn't even play with my brother. This issue started back in Far Cry 5, and they haven't fixed a single thing since. This "game" was clearly rushed out the door. I honestly don't know how you can make a product so bad that I hesitate to even call it a game. This is 100% the worst game in the entire series. To top it all off, I wanted to 100% complete this garbage for the achievements, but I can't. I bought all the maps, but apparently, if you do that, the NPCs around the world disappear, making it impossible to get the "Honorary Scout" achievement. GUYS, DO NOT BUY THIS GAME. SAVE YOUR MONEY FOR SOMETHING BETTER. It is not worth it, even if you are a Far Cry fan. I could write a whole book about how bad this is, but I'm done. Just trust me and skip it.
