Far Cry 3 - Blood Dragon

Owned this game over a decade and never played it, because Ubisoft want a cd key, and steam wont give me a cd key. This is peak Ubisoft incompetence. They know your Steam email but still can't sort their ♥♥♥♥ out properly with decade-old games. i mean look it up your self dighead. Cracked torents of ubisoft games are always better since the management system is a joke. Click and play games are 10x better than these third party launcher bullsheet jokes of a system these moronic caved-in-head-mofoker's endorse to indave your privacy at the same time making you jump through hoops made of flesh from your own butthole. No one like you Ubisoft, Please fk off in a spectacualrly violent implosion of sewage, and never think of bringing your disgustingly boring games to light ever again. i mean ass creed.. make a large map.. then litter it with thousands of useless collectables, and call it a game. garbage boring. all games you make suck and are boring as ♥♥♥♥, far cry being possibly the only redeeming title, and you still cant even get that right. Glad i never gave you a fkn cent you waste of life. The worst man, the fkn worst.

I originally played this gem years ago on Uplay. I recently bought and downloaded it on Steam to properly finish it and hunt the achievements. Unfortunately, classic Ubisoft launcher antics struck: the autosync immediately unlocked every single Steam achievement the second the game booted. It felt incredibly sus and honestly a bit sad, since I wanted to earn them all over again by myself (but then again I had the same issue with Far Cry 3 few days ago). But I didn't let that stop me. I still went ahead and 100% completed the game anyway. I collected absolutely everything and even uploaded a screenshot of my final stats to the community hub to prove it. As for the game itself? Far Cry: Blood Dragon is a glorious, old-school tribute to VHS-era action blockbusters. It delivers pure, unfiltered epic action backed by a phenomenal soundtrack. The entire experience is packed to the brim with hilarious jokes and clever references to cult classics like Predator, Terminator and even Star Wars. Unlike the main Far Cry series, this isn't a serious or gritty game; it's a neon-drenched, over-the-top sandbox of pure fun. If you love explosions, retro-futurism, and cheesy one-liners, this is a must-play. Final Verdict: Highly recommended for anyone who loves pure, unadulterated fun.

Найшизовіший Far Cry, у який я грав. Короткий, яскравий і настільки єбанутий, що запам'ятовується набагато краще за той самий оригінальний Far Cry 3, який у якийсь момент вже почав мене душити своїм величезним островом і нескінченними активностями. Місії тут постійно підкидають щось цікаве. Особливо запам'яталася та, де потрібно було прориватися через дамбу, а потім ще й місія в лабораторії, де починається повна єбанина з яйцями та маткою дракона. Ну і, звичайно, можливість виривати ворогам серця й кидати їх як приманку. Це взагалі одна з найкращих механік у грі. А дракони тут це окрема історія. Побачив здалеку цю громадину і одразу пездуєш на базу. Ти, бл*дь, кіборг-коммандос із потужною зброєю, але коли бачиш таку ху*ню, то вся твоя крутість кудись зникає. Музика чудово підкреслює неонову атмосферу 80-х, а гумор постійно підкидає якісь тупі й абсурдні моменти. Рекс може пафосно говорити про порятунок людства, а через хвилину ти вже вириваєш ворогам серця й слухаєш чергову єбануту репліку. І в якийсь момент просто сидиш і думаєш: Бл*дь, у що я зараз взагалі граю?. А фінал взагалі прекрасний. Спочатку ти отримуєш здоровенного бойового дракона й починаєш розносити ворожу базу лазерами, а я до останнього думав, що це просто чергова місія. Але ні, це вже фінал. І після всього цього пафосу гра закінчується дуже кумедно. Єдине, що бісило мене всю гру: щоразу, коли я відкривав меню, вилазила помилка підключення до сервера. Дякую, бл*дь, гівнософту за цей прикол. Але загального враження це не зіпсувало. Blood Dragon залишила після себе коротку, веселу й охуєнно шизову пригоду, яку я точно не забуду.

While the retro synthwave style and the laser-shooting dragons are cool for the first hour, the game honestly felt unnecessary after playing the main Far Cry 3. The map is dark and kinda repetitive, and the humor can get a bit old fast. Shoot, blow things up, listen to cheesy one-liners, repeat. It's ok if you want a short, brainless shooter.

A very short, but sweet Far Cry experience. Definitely worth it for the price! To help it run better as it is old, Limit it's affinity in Task Manager to 4 cores (CPU 0,2,4, and 6) and it will immediately go over 100+fps

Blood Dragon is easily the most wild and creative thing they’ve ever done. If you're a fan of 80s action movies, neon aesthetics, and synth-wave, you are going to absolutely love this. It takes everything that makes Far Cry fun and just cranks the insanity up to eleven. The humor is spot on, the visual style is iconic, and the whole 'VHS-era future' vibe is just perfect. It’s short, punchy, and doesn't take itself seriously at all, which is honestly exactly what I needed. It’s definitely a unique side-step for the franchise, but it’s easily one of the most memorable gaming experiences I’ve had. If you want a blast of nostalgia mixed with pure chaos, this is a must-play
