The RTS/FPS phenomenon has moved into space! Build your base on an asteroid, command fleets of starships for epic battles, pilot fighters, mine and trade resources, assemble robots to defend or assault other stations. Take sole command or share the glory as you fight for control of the quadrant.

6/10 The concept of this game is unique. You can have both FPS and RTS gameplay mode at the same time. In RTS, you can build your base, mine resource, etc, and in FPS mode, well you can pew-pew something. But, the game is just too simple and no Quests or Main Quest, also there is no exploration things like in X4 or NMS. I recommend this game, but only on discount. And I think this game will be more better if you play it with your friends (PVP) One more suggestion, if you want something like this (RTS and FPS mode game), you can try X4 Foundation :D
I don't understand why you couldn't just make a successor to the first one. This one is so much more complicated and different. Why not name it differently if you are going to make a different game.
good game, just steam workshop is missing...
gooj gaem
This game is great fun. I can lose myself for hours progressing through the tech trees. I also enjoyed the map editor feature. The feature of switching from RTS to FPS is really cool and I think it is executed very well in EA2. This game is really missing a mod base. I believe this would really make the game shine, in the same way mods did for the C&C series. The game is optimized fairly well, with only minor studdering when high ship counts are hit or if a large group of ships are jumping at once. I think they have something really special here, and I am excited to watch this game grow.
great game having a lot of fun no issues. I would love to make a mod for this game!
There are very few other games that combine rts and fps gameplay like this. If you are interested in that concept then I can definitly recommend executive assault 2.
played this game for quite a while and the dev is always working on it new features and fixes have been forthcoming since its release There nothing quite like a team game where your losing you lost your fight in space ability to two enemies working together and they have been inching forwards on the ground for your partner to arrive with a fleet and kick them out of your space leaving you to mop up the ground forces and rebuild then you repay the favor by joining a massive space battle for a critical chockepoint and you advance on your two shared enemies at the same time each base self destructing one after the other with the murder for the CEOs that dared face you
This game is incredible, it's everything you'd want out of an RTS game, specially if you're playing with friends; one as a CEO, the other/s as Executrons. One does the base-building, the others are the enforcers/henchmen, it's amazing. 10/10, where has this game been all my life
This was one of the very first games I purchased when I came over to PC. Though its an "Indie" title, don't let that put you off, it is for all intents and purposes a fill-your-boots RTS. This type of RTS was the first I've ever played where you can either play First Person and pilot/control almost anything (including the biggest space vessels in-game) or play the traditional RTS way where you select your units and order them to go/attack. I do hope that this game gets future add-ons whether a new faction, units or building types, but after sinking nearly 42 hours into this (I use this as a downtime game as I'm a professional content creator working alongside companies like Digital Extremes, Ubisoft and many others). I've found there is always a period of my down time, I come back and play this and that is the secret ingredient of a successful game. I would recommend you try it at the very least. I purchased this full price and at the moment of writing this review (almost a couple of years later), I have NO regrets purchasing <3
