I have a feeling that putting a save game option and maybe a Hardcore mode would instantly multiply player base tenfold.
11 years in the making - and this game is still an incomplete pile of junk: The best I can explain it is: This game is an unfinished tech-demo cosplaying as a "game". Cons: 1) Terrible UI/interaction feedback. 2) If you die, no "score" read out, or accomplishments of any sort. Just...death and back to main menu. 3) 25 hours in and I realize, I still don't care for the easy stuff. Running, fighting. I can basically punch anyone to death. This is fine - but it all feels like an absolute slog. 4) No proper structure in what's happening. 5) This game thrives on "ambiguity" but to this extent, it becomes a boring, meaningless, directionless slog. 6) Incomplete skill trees. Ranged gameplay still absent. Each re-work/major patch just seems like the same things get re-worked with no new things of actual value being added. Pros: 1) Atmosphere 2) Physics based fighting (actually awesome) 3) Mystery - to the point where the dev's laziness does them favors...this almost counters point #5 in cons. "You just don't understand this game, it's just not for you" - No brother, this game has been in the works for ELEVEN YEARS and is STILL nothing more than a tech demo.
i enjoy just about every aspect of the game other than losing two hours of progress in portal areas because you guys think punishing players for death is more important than implementing a fair save system
unless you are a big fan of melee combat games, don't buy it yet. the story mode isnt complete (doors to areas that dont exist, skills that aren't implemented, etc) which is disappointing because the game has a big learning curve and requires a lot of time invested to get a hang of the combat/controls. once you get the hang of it, there is no more game to play. plus 11 years of early access, yikes.
Played years ago on another account. Gave it another shot recently. After 11 years in early access, I'm highly disappointed. Like hundreds of other scam games, this one's still selling players a promise that'll never deliver. Why Steam allows this to continue is baffling.
This is a tech demo for a game that was kickstarted at the end of 2012. This game will likely never be finished. The physics based movement is novel, sometimes fun but ultimately janky.
Seriously weird game that has a huge learning curve, although it's taking forever to finish, it's pretty damn good. If you love physics based games then you'll love this. It's effectively a demo for multiplayer game that will come out, at this rate, in 2045.
THIS IS SOMETHING THATS BEEN IN DEVELOPMENT FOR OVER 10 YEARS?? THIS CLUNKY GARBAGE?!
if you want to keep you sanity stay away from it , the most stupid combat controls ever that will make u go crazy , and i know its physics based combat style but heck there should be some kind of assist mode to whom wants to have a casual play
The only downside of this game is the removal of ripped muscle mommies some years ago. Give muscle mommied back to the people.
