First off, I'm pretty sure the game uses generative AI for it's skill icons, which is not stated on the store page. They just have that telltale style of generic AI art. As for the game itself, it's bad. Really bad. The UI is horribly unpleasant to navigate using a controller (which I was prompted would be the best experience upon boot up). A big part of this is many options not having a suitable highlight when 'hovering over', in addition to the navigation just being obtuse. There's also no sound options. The player character seems to want to restart it's acceleration every time you change direction, which results in extremely inconsistent and frustrating movement. Using the analog stick is miserable, the slightest change in direction slows your movement to a crawl and using the directional pad is needlessly limiting for the style of game. This isn't 'big slow clunky powerhouse' movement, this is 'I feel like I'm in an arm wrestling match with the game just to walk' movement. There's absolutely no music, leaving the game feeling lifeless and boring. And to top it all off, my first round had enemies all but stop spawning just a few minutes in, with only the individual troop every few seconds. After a mind numbingly boring 5-6 more minutes, the timer finally ran down and the final wave spawned. They were wiped out without any challenge at all and the game refused to end after that, leaving me to wander in circles with actually 0 enemies spawning and completely soft locked. I can see the potential the game has, but as far as I can tell it would practically need to be completely rebuilt from the ground up to ever even dream of reaching it. I went in with fairly low expectations and this is still one of the most disappointing games I've had the displeasure of playing. Wouldn't even play it if it were free. Absolutely cannot recommend.

Glad I picked this one up. A pretty simple game but fun to play.
Could be a decent vampire survivors clone but its hampered by terrible feeling character movement. Also worth noting the very clear use of AI artwork.
