About
ENDLESS Space™ 2 is a Strategic Space Opera set in a mysterious universe.
Your story unfolds in a galaxy that was first colonized by God-like beings known as the “ENDLESS”, who rose and fell eons ago. All that remains of them are mystical ruins, powerful artifacts, and a strange, near-magical substance known as Dust.
ENDLESS Space™ 2 takes the classic “one more turn” formula to new heights. You will explore mysterious star systems, discover the secrets of ancient races, build colonies on distant planets, exploit trade routes, develop advanced technologies of unthinkable power; and, of course encounter new life forms to understand, to court or to conquer.
As a leader, you have to manage your populations like never before as they react dynamically to your decisions and to their environment, expressing their will through political parties, dictating the laws that your Senate can pass. Will you be a beloved natural leader or will you manipulate your populations to your benefit?
Watch your fighters fly past huge cruisers while lasers rip their hulls apart in epic real-time space battles. Detailed after action reports will help you adapt your strategy for the next confrontations.
Design your ships, assemble your fleets and carefully adapt your battle plans to overcome your enemies. Once you think you’ve done it all, take it online against seven other players.
Immerse yourself in the ENDLESS Universe™. The galaxy belongs to the civilization that controls Dust and uncovers its secrets… but were the ENDLESS alone in the galaxy? What is the true origin of Dust?
Lead one of eight civilizations, each with a unique playstyle affinity and story quest, and build great stellar empires capable of imposing your vision on the Galaxy!
Find out more about the Academy and its powerful cast of Heroes, that you can recruit and train to become fleet admirals, system governors or influential senators.
Press ‘Space’ anytime to activate the Amplified Reality view and reveal in-depth contextual information about your systems, trade routes, diplomatic stances and even your ship stats during battle!

Solid game. More complex than Civilization, but a lower skill ceiling.

ONE OF THE BEST SPACE STRATEGY GAMES OUT THERE
My favourite sci-fi 4X of all time. Holds up great almost 10 years after release. The graphics are beautiful and the UI clean and informative. The combat is deep and strategic - you set up the battlefield with different positions and tactics, press Play and watch the fight play out. It's very beautiful and cinematic, as the fighting takes place in 3D space inside the actual star systems, many of which are jaw-dropping to look at. Every faction plays completely different and feels like a whole new game. They all have an engaging questline to follow that lets you "evolve" them during the game into a different playstyle. For example with the Terran you can specialise into becoming an industrial powerhouse or a military regime. Systems feel strategic and buildings impactful. The population system is interesting and it's fun looking for species that complement your own. The diplomacy is just okay - it gets the job done for a turn based game. Diplomacy actions cost a resource that is used for empire-wide buffs so often you're too "poor" to engage in it. The factions can often be a bit too reluctant to interact with you as well. Tech is impactful, every tech gives you something new and the choices feel very strategic. It's almost always new buildings, ship types, weapons, access to different planets and resources and it's about picking which one gives you the most benefit in your current situation. 10/10 as far as 4X games go.
Very Very Good.
Best civilisation-building game I've played. Runs go by rather quickly; you can finish a game in about 10h, easily. Also great for multiplayer since all players can execute their turns simultaneously. The factions all feel unique and the gameplay loop is addictive. I've found myself trying to quit the game telling myself "just one more turn" before executing another 4 or so. Absolutely a delight -- If you like Stellaris, get this (trust me, it's even better).
Paradox is a greed monger that charges for DLC that should be in the base game.
Cant for the life of me get into this game, Ever play a game that isnt intuitive, feels like an unfinished game. Very restrictive game, VERY BORING!!! belongs as a mobile game imo. look for Youtube Reviews before getting. Low depth. something missing, playable races are generic villain tropes, on the PLUS side, models are very good. 9 hours trying to get into it, recent 7 hours after 3+ years not playing...BORING GAME
