EDIT: changing ,y review from good to bad. I am SO disappointed in the devs for seeing no updates or follow up work on the game. I am a huge elex fan and this review should not deter you from purchasing the game. Its definitely worth the price. But as a a huge elex fan I have to be honest with my criticism. I did enjoy this game very much I was somewhat disappointed in how easy it was to lock yourself out of certain quests, break the immersion, and I was very disappointed at what seemed like lazy worldbuilding with most of the map being identical to the first game. Now I do love elex, and think its worth the purchase I just wish we would have seen more effort from the devs and hope we get a third game that can utilize all the potential that this brilliant lore rich world has to offer especially with modern hardware

Ich finde diesen 2. Teil insgesamt gelungen. Die Story macht wirklich Spaß und das Kampfsystem wurde zum Glück angepasst bzw. einfacher. Elex habe ich nur wegen dem Kampfsystem wirklich gehasst! Leider ist auch bei Elex2 nicht alles perfekt. Die Grafik ist schlechter wie in Elex und einige Missionen fühlen sich irgendwie falsch an bzw. fehl am Platz. Dex der Sohn z.B.... was soll der Unsinn? Hätte man besser weggelassen. Caja (die Frau von Jax) fühlt sich eher an wie jeder andere NPC, aber nicht wie die Ehefrau. Elex 2 hat für mich mehrere Plausibilitätsfehler, auch wenn die den Spieleverlauf nicht direkt stören, so gewinnt man aber das Gefühl, das dieses Spiel (wie Gohtic 3 damals) mal wieder schnell fertig werden musste. Was mich auch stört ist der ganze Krempel der überall rumliegt. Ich fühlte mich genötigt, immer und überall den ganzen Kram zu looten und das hat echt viel Zeit gekostet. Elex 2 wurde dadurch unnötig in die länge gezogen, zum Ende hin habe ich immer mehr Dialoge weggeklickt, weil bei mir einfach die Luft raus war. Merkwürdig auch, das ich bis zum Ende hin kein Rezept für den starken Elextrank finden oder kaufen konnte, nachdem ich mehrere Hundert Elex angehäuft hatte.
