Dreamcage Escape

It's a small ok escape game. And i can't open the last level after beating the one before. It's a quite dissapointing bug(

A short but fun escape game, the puzzles are fairly easy though. It took me roughly 7 hours to get through the game, but I had to replay some lower levels to get all the coins needed for the last level. The game has an option to watch a video, if you're really stuck and don't know what to do next.

It's a pleasant puzzle game, even if the achievements are broken and there isn't any real ending...

I liked it, but both the 4 lever lock puzzle and the moving block puzzle to make the key on level 12 are finicky. The levers kept moving out of place after they locked into place, which really irritated me, and the blocks would be unresponsive, I had to click and hold them then move the mouse around several times before they moved. The hint system just gave you a video walkthrough link and the walkthrough didn't even show you where the coins were. And the game wasn't clear on the purpose of the gold coins, turns out you need them to continue the story, I found out the hard way, getting locked out of the last chapter until I had collected 40 of them. The Achievements are bugged as well. None of them unlocked for me even after 100% the game. :( All in all it was a pretty good game.

Started off fair but you don't really know where 'things' that you will need to solve the puzzles are. Some are so hidden that, even after clicking on the help video, you Still have trouble finding them. By the 3rd room I hit a 'timed puzzle' and that was it for me. You have to click click click click etc. etc to try and keep locks open as they are constantly sliding closed....aka...An Arcade Puzzle designed to keep you putting quarters into the machine. The second that developers put ANY kind of arcade puzzle into a 'puzzle game', that's it for me....I'm Done.

A very fun game. Relaxing because you're not timed. Just find the items to help you complete each level. Find and collect the 3 gold coins in each level as a bonus. I found the puzzles simple to a bit of challenge but nothing that couldn't be completed. There are clues for some of the puzzles. Others are just very simple and don't need instructions. There are notes that tell the story and some of them have clues on them. There is no hand holding so you must investigate and click on everything. Some things are obvious others take some figuring out. There is a hint gear that takes you to a video that shows how to complete each level. I found myself watching it a time or two when I got stumped on a particular puzzle. (No they don't show where to find the coins in the videos. This is something you must do on your own.) So if you are up to no hand holding and come challenge this game is for you. The graphics are very well done.

There's nothing actually wrong with this game other than the broken achievements. It has nice art, but it runs in a little framed box less than half the screen. It isn't a pixel hunt, except to find the coins that inexplicably unlock the final level. There are notes in some of the scenes that add a little flavor, but not enough to get you invested in the story. It's cheap but short (maybe 2 hours). I played the whole thing, but mainly because it's all pretty much instant-solve easy. It is what it is, not really a room escape game, just click until the machine works.

Definitely challenging and fun!
