Dragon Age: Origins - Ultimate Edition

Ya había jugado esta saga y sabía que no me iba a defraudar. La historia 10/10 y los personajes super tops. Si te gustan los juegos de rol de fantasía donde tus decisiones influyen a la historia debes probar a jugar este juego y sus posteriores. La única putada es que el juego es muy antiguo y no está remasterizado, entonces tiene muchos bugs y te toca jugarlo con consola para poder arreglar tu los bugs manualmente. Ojala algún día lo remastericen porque vale 100% la pena.

peak dragon age for me. very well written characters, cinematic, fun combat and very complex on harder difficulties for nerds like me that grew up on WOW and many other RPG's of that time period.

Even though I've already played this game before I'm surpsrised once again how good it holds up being 19 years old. I won't lie the crashes are annoying to deal with, at first I couldn't even get past the character creation but then it just started working, make sure to set your texture quality to medium, it doesnt stop the game from crashing but it lowers the frequency, then just keep pressing F5 from time to time and may the Maker aid you in stopping the Blight

As a long time Dragon age fan who started playing at 13 years old, this is the best Dragon age game in the entire series. Though there are some issues with the game running on PC, glitches and crashes and what not, these are all things that come simply with the age of the game. The part of this game that aged the best was the story, this is a story that I dreamed of when I first started playing RPGs as a child. I wanted a game that your actions actually mattered. You get that right here in Dragon age: Origins! Your decisions reflect greatly on your character, and not only that you are someone that is still talked about like an old legend within the other games. My problem with other RPGs is that your character themself isn't nearly as impactful. In this, your character definitely is. You aren't faceless or simply someone who happened to make the change before anyone else could. You ARE that person and you always will be. A part I also enjoyed about this is how unsafe it is, the options given to you to fix a problem are so hard to pick between and really make you think about everything very critically about everyone who follows you and the butterfly affect that these decisions have. It isn't simply just having one character like you and another hate you, it is those character's livelihood in your hands. Every option given, even when it seems right, still has drawbacks. You want to live your life? Another cannot. You want stability for your nation? You lose those close. It is a very tragic game, especially when you are playing as a Dalish elven woman romancing Alistair. Things simply do not go your way even when you try the hardest for them to be. Which I enjoy for a narrative, not so much my heart sighhhh. But that is life in a world riddled with religious corruption, racism, and demons! I am so happy I decided to purchase this game and rediscover Dragon age after so long and after just playing Inquisition. This is a solid 10/10 no argument, more RPGs need to learn from this game and take notes.
