In OPERATOR, you will play as an elite Tier 1 operator undergoing dangerous clandestine operations all across the globe. With a strategic, measured, and unforgiving style of gameplay. OPERATOR aims to be the ultimate tactical shooter with total realism in mind. Featuring realistic weapon handling, ballistics, injury, gore, and active ragdolls.
In OPERATOR, what you see is what you get... literally. We’ve redefined first-person gameplay by ensuring the first-person perspective is seamlessly connected to your character in the world. Unlike traditional FPS games, where floating viewmodels represent your hands and weapons, OPERATOR renders your character’s full body in the first-person view. Every movement, every action, and every detail you see is exactly as it would appear to any other player in the environment. Leaning around a corner or aiming your weapon feels natural because it’s not an isolated animation—it’s procedural, simulating your character moving in the world. Physically Interacting with doors, your weapons occupying realistic space, you need to take every small detail into consideration when operating downrange.
OPERATOR also has a fully in-depth and unique adjustable crouch, lean and stance system. Using your mouse to finely control the exact angle you need. No more over lean or over crouching, the perfect angle is in your grasp. In addition to this we have implemented a high and low ready system for your firearms to rest your arm stamina and to avoid flagging fellow operators in the field. With in depth weapon collision systems, variable movement speed, manual operation of firearms, shoulder tapping, physical door interactions and plently more fine details OPERATOR has many unique and innovative mechanics not seen in any other tactical shooter.
When operating downrange, you’re just one cog in a machine. Work with your fellow operators to achieve mission success all over the globe. Your success hinges on seamless coordination and communication, from urban close-quarters combat to wide-open terrain in hostile environments, teamwork is the key to survival and victory.
Your weapon isn’t just a tool—it’s a reflection of the way you operate.
Use a wide range of weapon attachments to personalize your firearm and tune it to whatever your mission might require. Strip the gun down to the receiver and build it from the ground up. No limitations. You define what's tactical.
The battlefield is in your hands. Use the environment to your advantage, along with a diverse range of special purpose tools and assets, such as tactical grenades, battering rams, hammers, and an ISR feed with thermal imagery continuously informing you on the atmospherics inside your Area of Operations.
The laptop located in the armory is where you plan out and execute your missions, offering full control over your missions and tactical planning. From here, you can select active operations or dive into simulation mode to refine your skills.
Choose from a variety of high-stakes, real-world missions around the globe. Use pre-gathered intelligence to influence your planning, and get a full picture of the area of operation. Decide on your ingress specifics, including the time of day and infiltration point, ensuring you have the perfect setup for your team’s strategy.
After completing every operation you can choose to replay them using the simulation mode in the tactical operations hub. This mode also allows you to change the parameters of the mission including enemy count, enemy difficulty and more.
Also under the simulations category are the PVP “Force on Force” game modes, where you can fight your friends in multiple different settings. Being both casual and competitive it can deliver a whole other perspective of being an operator.
Dive into the PvP modes, where every match is fast, intense, and tactical. Team Deathmatch rewards cooperation and strategy, while Free-for-All puts your individual skills to the test. With fluid mechanics and dynamic maps, OPERATOR offers both casual fun and competitive thrills, ensuring every match is a high-stakes challenge.
Refine your skills at the shooting range including a fully randomised shoot house. Randomising the layout and targets active including non targets. With a built in timer and history of previous runs you can see yourself improve in real time.

One of the best shooters out there in principle. There is a lot to love about this game. Well worth the $20 normal price, and even more so on sale. The mechanics are solid and the weapon customization is in-depth. The equipment, weight, stamina, and medical systems in the game are a work in progress but have improved through development. Unfortunately the server instability and connectivity absolutely ruin the game. If the entire game doesn't crash or you don't get disconnected as soon as more than 4 teammates or 30 enemies are loaded, you still have to contend with normal pre-alpha developments: toxic lobbies, broken missions, getting kicked for an undisclosed reason, modded players breaking game physics (as there is no anti-cheat in use that I can tell), or getting immediately friendly fired by a teammate as soon as the mission starts. Those stacking tolerance issues result in long sessions of spectating or server hopping, which you hope also doesn't crash, just to find a match. Coupled with the instability, it becomes difficult to recommend this until those issues are fixed by the admittedly small developer.
Game would be a lot better if the AI didn't constantly try to shoot you through walls, bushes, rocks, etc.
If you played this game you can legally tell people at the supermarket line that you are former navy seal shadow clan cag operator
Great game for if you are looking for that bridge between the masisve unit scale operations of ARMA, and the tight CQB style gameplay of ready or not. Even in Alpha, the developers have shown the vision that they have in mind, and have shown to commit to that vision of realism and cqb tactics at the forefront. If you are looking for a solid, tactical barbie style game, with small unit raid tactics in a realistic setting, OPERATOR is a solid, no nonsense pick up.
So while this game has potential I would say there are a couple of things majorly holding it back at the time of writing: 1. The maps - they are very basic without any really environmental storytelling, it's a mish mash of clean UE5 assets just placed randomly on a map. Now I will accept for some people that may be fine but in my opinion a lot of them would be something you find in a really early build alpha. They could be placeholders and I hope they are as better maps means a better more immersive game. Kabul streets for example, every building has the same texture, there's no differentiation. They could add some partial collapses, bullet holes, smoke damage and fires etc. The same goes for the roads and the random same few cars with their doors open just placed on the road. Why not have them look damaged? Why not have one or two on fire? Something to make it look more like there has been some kind of firefight. Perhaps some craters from explosions in the road? It would really benefit the immersion if it looked more realistic. Another example would be the boat map which is just an empty boat that has some sizing issues IMO. It's too narrow (yes I get CQB) but the character gets stuck and collides at multiple points on the map. Also enemies just hiding in empty rooms is a bit odd. It could be a yacht with some different enemies on, maybe cartel with private security. Make it slightly larger and place some furniture down to create angles and lines of sight. There are other examples but these were the quickest to explain and worst offenders. 2. The UI - gun customisation is good but the UI for it (and in general) does detract from it. It needs a real tidy up rather than the long list with drop downs it currently has. Again this is something that could easily be polished before it gets to full release and would improve the experience vastly. 3. The cult like following that attack you if you say anything remotely negative about the game. I was accused of lying and misrepresentation by someone in the comments section of a video (which was covering a different game) because I expressed the above areas where I think it could improve. This was in response to the suspicious spam of comments saying "don't play this game get operator instead". Apparently gaming isn't subjective and because they think the maps are fine that makes me wrong and I am being disingenuous? It's just opinion and we can all have different ones. Again, this was after they had commented on coverage of another game dumping on that and promoting Operator instead. This is happening on a co-ordinated level on every video by the looks of it. Which is a major red flag. The community are entitled to their opinion but they should not need to tear down another game to promote this instead. So ultimately yes this game has potential but there are core parts of the experience which are a long way behind the competitors. There are also areas and features it has which are ahead of it's competition. The gun customisation is great (not the UI), the manual chambering is a cool feature, the gunplay feels good for the most part (maybe lacks a bit of recoil?), the animations are really good and it certainly offers lots of different ways to approach an objective. It's also some achievement from what I believe is a solo dev. My point is it wouldn't harm to have an actual level designer give all the maps a once over, some parts of game dev need specialists in my opinion. The rest can just be fixed on the road to full release. If you like tactical shooters then this game will appeal to you but it does have room for growth. I hope this is seen as constructive feedback. I won't mention the AI as I can't think of any game which has completely nailed it in this genre, it's an issue in all of the games. Game runs well and looks nice on my setup.
Been following this game for years. Finally got a pc to play it one of the best FPS's I've played in a long time. It's what my military tism's has been looking for all these years after my time in. when it comes to gear and weapons and mechanics. Developer has done an amazing job and i cant wait to play this even more and be along for the journey.
Game is amazing. Handling is great. Running and animations are a little slow. But holy is the AI a joke. Shooting at you across the map one shot headshot. Shooting at you through walls. You fart and they will start shooting at you with smart bullets that defy physics, gravity, logic and reason. AI will not even look at you and still shoot AT you. You sneeze and the whole map will know exactly where you are at all times, shoot at you through walls with no clear line of sight, and yes, their bullets do travel through multiple layers of walls and rooms, while yours have issues penetrating glass and wooden frame windows.
I got this game for free from a goated friend, I can play this game at 60 Frames per maybe at 720p very amazing experience I must say very recommended.
somehow has fresh new mechanics in a stagnant genre! first fps ive ever seen have fused night vision thermal integrators, and ones that looks exactly like irl too, good game
This is a great game to play for people looking for realistic tactical gameplay. It is a great game if your looking for challenging military experience. I would recommend you play with friends to make the game not so hard. You should definitely give OPERATOR a try. It is nice because of the low price for such a great game. You can customize your gun all the way from the barrel, to the optic. Be carful though, on the other side of a wall can get you killed. Jesus loves you.
