Decisive Campaigns: The Blitzkrieg from Warsaw to Paris (DC:tBfWtP) 是 Decisive Campaigns 這個系列四部中的第一作，這系列皆以二戰作為背景，算是比較輕度易上手的兵棋遊戲。 內容是三大 scenarios: Case White (入侵波蘭)、Case Yellow (入侵比荷(盧)和法國)、Sealion (入侵英國 (IF線) )。 可獨遊玩各 scenarios (任選陣營)，或是把三個 scenarios 串在一起的 campaign (只能選擇德軍)。前者只需確保各 scenario 在限定回合內取得足夠 VP (透過佔領有 VP 的城市)，後者則需考慮限制我方戰損，避免在下一 scenario 減員。 前兩 scenarios，比較接近，起始兵牌都已經佈置好。最後的 scenario 則加入了兩棲登陸和傘兵要素。 另外有一些由前兩 scenarios 簡化成的小型 scenarios。 遊戲的進行需要探索與戰鬥。 探索方面，每格都有 recon 值，recon 值越高會知道該格越多、越準確的資訊，100才能確保知道有沒有敵軍，700才能確保資訊的準確的。 戰鬥方面，可以透過炮擊、 air operations (level/dive bomber) 削弱敵人，或是直接進行地面戰。 大部份地形對攻擊方有更大的減乘，因此在未足夠降低守方 readiness, entrenchment 前進攻，攻方會受到大量損失。 另外地面戰還跟很多因素相關：部隊在指揮所一定範圍內才能充分發揮；同一師的不同單位合攻會有協同加成；從不同方向包夾也會有 concentric 加成。 遊戲很能反映閃電戰「包圍與殲滅」的精髓，防守方在耗光 readiness 後會撤離至相鄰格子。但假如周圍六格都被攻方佔領後 (無論有沒有我方部隊)，會無法撤退而全數殲滅。有機會出現單一戰鬥攻方損失數百人甚至無損的情況下消滅守方數千甚至過萬人。 我完成了普通難度的 campaign，雖然畫面不算很漂亮，但我還是很推薦這款。 我會給 8.5/10。

Excellent World War 2 wargame on the operational level. You command an entire army worth of troops on the onset of WW2. There is a campaign which will link the three main scenarios: Case White (Poland '39), Case Yellow (France '40) and Operation Sealion (England '40). For me this game hits a sweet spot in terms of complexity, scope and depth. You are not mindlessly pushing counters, nor are you completely getting lost in the minutiae of running your command. Your basic counter is generally a regiment, which fits the scope of the game really well. The Order Of Battle is complex enough ranging from your run-of-the-mill infantry regiments up to some very specific named units and even armoured train units. If you have played any of the Decisive Campaign games you will feel right at home because most of the of the UI and keybinds are similar if not the same. If you have not played any of them and you are a wargamer just give one of them a try as they are not nearly as difficult to get into as you might expect.

Very good game mechanics. Orders of Battle seem to be thoroughly researched and there are sufficen options to allow for replayability and "what if" scenarios.

Un des rares jeux stratégiques qui permettent de recréer l'invasion de la France en 1940 (en tout cas la première partie : Fall Gelb, la seconde opération : Fall Rot n'étant jamais proposée ...). L'IA n'est pas folichonne mais fait le job. Evidemment la victoire allemande est certaine mais la réussir en conservant les pertes à un niveau minimum peut présenter un certain challenge.

Very good but challenging and requiers to look up all resources on the game. The manual is somewhat lacking. Overall a good experience.
