Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Coming from Armageddon (which was based on this), it didn't feel good. I bought the game based on PC2 reviews and for this price it was idiotic to leave it behind... or so I thought. I came back with open mind to see if I like it more this time but nope. Weird crash-but-not popups and freezes where my units move as if I clicked on them (weird stuff but highly annoying) Combat isn't satisfying at all for me. Not just unit movement and combat but also information regarding tiles and modifiers. Game says a 1:1 damage to each but I get 3 and they get 1 but for why idk.
I loved Panzer General as a child and I love Panzer Corps now. Hex based strategy wargame is exactly my jam.

Similar to old school SSI/Avalon Hill board game. Not a fan of the chess approach to combat as weight of fire should matter more but if you want that old War Game feel with a reasonable interface and pieces you can't lose it is an enjoyable time sink.
Excellent reboot of the old PC classic Panzer General, on all levels, with graphics, scenarios and layouts of the battlefields. They've made this much more challenging- maybe too much so in the more advanced campaigns, with it being all but impossible to get that final decisive victory against the Soviets (Prokhorovka '43). Same for the Afrika Korps campaign, with the Gazala assault, which again, seems all but impossible to finish without having your forces gutted. I've played both on the Colonel level, so I can't imagine how much more difficult it is at General or Field Marshal level. Will keep plugging away, I suppose. That said, I still highly recommend this game!
It's a classic, not much else to say.
Here is your chance to change history.
Hard to say I'd "recommend" it, because I'm on the spectrum and this is like a soothing coping mechanism for me. I have played versions of this since the original Panzer General on Sony Playstation in 1996! So, basically I've been playing this game for 30 years. So you can imagine my surprise to see very few people have played this long enough to get the (meaningless) "achievements" Steam insists on games having. I say 'meaningless', but they do tell me not many others find this game either as addictive, or as meditative as I have. I would only NOT suggest PanzerCorps2 because the development team went full ♥♥♥♥♥♥ and created what should be a 2D game into a CPU hog. I'd buy it if they change the engine behind it...
It's really good and addictive. Panzer General on steroids.
