Ein Taktik basiertes Spiel welches sich im 2ten WK abspielt, hier fühlt man sich wie ein General der die Befehle an die Truppen gibt.
Very good but challenging and requiers to look up all resources on the game. The manual is somewhat lacking. Overall a good experience.
a generally well done adaptation of a board game to a PC.
I love this game, even though it's the oldest DC game. I really, really wish Vic would bring PBEM++ and mouse capture to this, it's a travesty that it doesn't have it. Other than that, 100% recommend this
Great game if you like hex and counter wargames.
I think this is an excellent low to mid level complexity wargame. The three main operations are very different from one another and offer some great options to replay. The mechanics are sound too. This really shows up that if you play the historical campaign and generally follow the real war plans of the Germans, you end up winning. I will fault it for the Polish campaign being the most difficult, if only for the fact that this will put people off who then won't see any more of the game.
es un juego en el que puedes ver la composición de las divisiones, lo que no se entiende es que no este traducido al Español, eso le hace perder gran parte de su valor.
Excellent World War 2 wargame on the operational level. You command an entire army worth of troops on the onset of WW2. There is a campaign which will link the three main scenarios: Case White (Poland '39), Case Yellow (France '40) and Operation Sealion (England '40). For me this game hits a sweet spot in terms of complexity, scope and depth. You are not mindlessly pushing counters, nor are you completely getting lost in the minutiae of running your command. Your basic counter is generally a regiment, which fits the scope of the game really well. The Order Of Battle is complex enough ranging from your run-of-the-mill infantry regiments up to some very specific named units and even armoured train units. If you have played any of the Decisive Campaign games you will feel right at home because most of the of the UI and keybinds are similar if not the same. If you have not played any of them and you are a wargamer just give one of them a try as they are not nearly as difficult to get into as you might expect.
Excellent PC wargame. Much like the old Avalon Hill/ SPI releases I played before they went out of business. The Decisive Campaigns engine is easy enough to pick up and play without losing a sense of detail for the situation/conflict. The informed insight to be gained should not be understated. I'd love to see the series expanded- Afrika Corps, Italy 43-45, Manchuria, Korea etc. etc.
Great game. Just the right amount of detail
